There is a Lion King trilogy, there's The Lion King 1, 2, and 1 and a 1/2.

I agree with you.. I don't want any sequel to Simba's Pride because it might destroy the movie: Simba and Nala won't be there and it's not the same without them... :roll:
And.. Kovu and Kiara had made peace between the out landers and the pride landers, so it's sucks to make a war again.. :x .
But, it would be very nice to produce Lion king 2 1/2: About Kiara and Kovu's childhood- How Kiara spent the days with her parents and her friends....

Disney has cut it's studios in production of animated films. Soon their are to be only 3-D animated films produced by Disney. There will not be another Lion King as far as I know. I have checked and looked into this and knowing some animators, they have confirmed at this time no.

It would be a shame for Disney to ditch traditional hand-drawn animation in favour of 3D films. Was Snow White in 3D? No. Was The Lion King in 3D? No. Disney shouldn't give up what got them there.

(I hope the rumours of Disney returning to the old ways are true).
