Was anyone played this game on the N64 and/or played the second game Super Smash Bros. Melee on the NGC?

any opinions?

I think this has got to be one of the best 4 player action free-for-all game.

I play with Fox the most.

I have both Super Smash bros. for the 64 and Melee, and I think it is one of the best Nintendo games out there, I mean there is never a bad time to play some super smash. Also I think there is a version of Super Smash Bros. coming out for the DS that would be so awesome.

For the Character I play as most I would have to say Link.

yep i play ssbm and i chose kirby but dont underestimate me cause i mange to beat a lot of ppl. sadly challenging the same ppl was boring so i only play time to time

i played SSBM for 13418473141 hours, well is an apProximation
i PLAy with Fox too, is the best character, but is very difficult exploit him true abilities, for example , use the "cancel" or a"rare dash", and the "blue shield"

I have it, I like it very much, unfortunately my brother doesn't like it because (and I think he's right) the game has no cooperation mode when we are two players. It's really fun when we are 3 or 4, if you're alone there are many modes, but 2? No. That's the point I hope they will improve in the future, because except from that, it's nearly perfect.
I still played it around 30h in 1 player modes only...

I have both SSB games as well, love them and played them loads of times. ALot of people beat me loads of times when i first played it but when i found who my best character was i beat them all. Everyone i have played against on super smash bros melee i have beaten them all, i do admit that there is always someone better than someone else at this game but i would like to see who could beat me at this game. Ow and by the way my best character is fox as well GO FOX!

There are a lot more Fox players than I thought there would. If only we could see who the top Fox really is... *sigh*

I did hear that the next SSB game would be either on the DS or on Revolution, both with WiFi online play. This may not be true.

Both games were ok- the only real good bunch of the Nintendo's taste.

I play both on my notebook, but I prefer SSBM as it is more fun to play Stamina Mode with framerate uncapped.

As for characters...
SSBM: Pikachu
SSB: Pikachu

No one escapes Pikachu, because all I can fight at the time being is the computer bots until I find a driver that allows me to port in my stupid Microsoft XBOX game controller designed for the PC (I don't know why I even bought it)

I got Melee and it's been a while since I played it last. I usually play as Fox though there's times I play as Bowser.

Too bad Nintendo didn't hook the GameCube with actual online play.(Sorry, I don't count that whole warp thing as "online")

One of the best games ever!
Fox is fast, but his attack moves are weak... my best character is Link. Followed by Marth, then Kirby.

And I'm not sure what you mean by 'cooperation' mode... you can set yourself and your brother to be on the same team against computer players, and that's good enough for us!

That game is just good to play with other people... it has no Usage for SIngle player (at least in my opinion)
