I don't think the fan fic rule on religion is 100% fair.

It's nice that you want to spread the news and all, but it's the rules, so you should follow them here. Religious topics and such aren't allowed for a reason. It's not that we're all against it. We just don't want to have to break up fights all the time because of it. There's just too much controversy.

I think it's OK to have some religious allusions, as long as they're not the big IN YOUR FACE kinda stuff. Sort of the way C.S. Lewis wrote The Chronicles of Narnia- he used characters and plots rooted in religion, but he left it up to his readers to make the connection. Does that sound good to anyone else?

Yes, fair enough, you want to share your religion. But there are many non-religious people (like me), and people with a different religion form you. So therefore, it can start serious wars and flaming, so there's a reason why it's there. And we don't want to fill this site with seriously flamed topics now, do we?

Personally, I think Steet was right to make this rule.

We all have different religions, and in some certain aspects of another is considered blasphomy (sp?). So this, when people write about it, would cause a spark.

All people tend to think that "my way is the right way, the only way!", so this would cause the site's members' connections with one another crumble, possibly ending the site.
