In Balto 2, everyone knows that the whole movie is about Balto trying to find Aleu, etc. BUT has anyone ever thought about why Balto is so surprised about Aniu? here is my rpoof:

1) when Balto says goodbye to Nava, he sees Aniu and she says " only the journey home, my son." ( i think those are her exact words...)

2) then Balto says, " Aniu, your my..."- thus he's surprised.

3) Aniu knodds her head "yes" and howls to him as of saying goodbye.
Balto then says something to her and says (I think), " bye to you too, mother."

This shows that Balto knew (of course) that he had a mother, BUT he didn't know who it was before Balto 2.


Please give thoughts and opinions. I like to hear your thoughts. And, be nice. its my first forum topic.

I think that Balto now that because Nava said that Aniu his mother was. BTW, that's my opinion.

Firstly: Welcome Aleu45, I can see this is your first post.
Secondly: I think Balto remembers his mother (in fact he tells Aleu that his mother was a white wolf), but he cannot remember her name. If you mean that Aniu isn't the same White Wolf from Balto 1, since he wouldn't have told Alue he remembered almost nothing about his mother when he actually saw her after his fall while carrying the medicine to Nome, I personally prefer to think they are the same wolf. This is just my opinion. But, if I'm not wrong, Phil Weinstein wanted that Aniu was the same White Wolf of Balto 1.
