I just started reading Stephen Kings' The Shining after finishing Pet Semetary. I'm on 67 out of 683. I wanna know if anyone else had read this book or heard of it? I definatly recommend it even though I haven't finished it. If you haven't read it I'll post the sumary.

Summary/Plot:

The OverLook Hotel is more than just a home-away-from-home for the Torrance family. For Jack,Wendy, and thier young son, Danny, it is a place where past horrors come to life. And where those gifted with the shining do battle with the darkest evils. Stephen King's classic thriller is on of the most powerfully imagined novels of our time.

Sounds pretty cool right?

It is, without a doubt, THE most terrifying book I've ever read, and I've read most, if not all, of Stephen King's works. It is a true masterpiece, and had me afraid while reading it in broad daylight, in my own kitchen. It's that good.
