For all of you who are troubled with this crappy guy, no worries. You can actually BYPASS him without even having to crush him! ^^

Here's how you do it:

1. Go to the big room with the lightning skies in.
2. Jump (double-jump is the only thing that works)
3. In mid-air; enter the Celestial Brush mode and look around. You should see one of those flowers you can attach to that can draw you to a place.
4. Use Greensprout on it, and draw a line from it to you.
5. Once up, turn around until you face the room you came from again. On your left, there is a place you can walk on over to the other side.
6. Power Slash through the vases.
7. Jump up to the ledge and walk over to the other side.
8. Start the event.
