Is your dog mixed up weirdly?
I have a beagle who is part weimaraner. My beagle has green eyes too. he is scene in my siggy and avatar.

AWW, the beagle/Weimaraner is so cute!
No, my dog isn't a mix either, she's a Saluki. Which, I guess is somewhat weird just because it's an uncommon/rare breed and usually nobody knows what I'm talking about. XD I've had people guess Whippet, Borzoi, Afghan...all in the right ballpark.

Well, I don't own a dog anymore, but I don't think either of my old dogs were weird breeds. Definatley not the one that was purebred  .
My first dog (Oscar) was a Beagle, which isn't weird at all (they rock XD).
My second dog (Lattè (I think that's the way the accent's put, I'm not that good in French )) was a Beagle/Basset Hound, but she looked more Beagle than anything else.

I still don't know what Archie is crossed with. 
He's definetely mostly Border collie.
According to others and through my own research he could be mixed with any of these:
German Shepherd, Flat-coated Retriever, Siberian Husky, Belgian Shepherd, Rough Collie, Lurcher.. and I can't remember the rest.. xD

My dog isn't a cross, she's pure chihuahua and no I don't mean purebreed.  EDIT: Oops, sorry! I meant she doesn't have papers, or pedigree. I still have a lot to laern about the dog world.
