That is simply ridiculous. How anybody can have the audacity to say that fur color has anything to do with the way an animal behaves is beyond me. Maybe some people think this way because often black is perceived to be a sign of evil, especially in movies.

How does hair/fur color affect the way something behaves??? Simple, IT DOESN"T!!!

I've got a black dog (half chow and half black lab) and she is definitely NOT a bad dog. Is the article for real?

Yes its true. People think black dogs are mean, and vicous. In shelters, black dogs are often last to be adopted. Not all black dogs are vicous, alot of different breeds can be vicous. And its not the dofs fault, its the owners fault. Black dogs are usually very sweet dogs.

And same with black cats. People are afraid of black cats of bad luck? That doesn't even exist.

This is called stereo typing.

Its because humans enjoy racisim. I don't get it and everyone says "He's acting like an animal." When animals are better behaved than us. I've never seen a black dog come into a human society and have to be put down or unable to be put up for adoption. Infact I was actually bit by a white dog

There's only two 'vicious' black dogs I've ever heard of, and they are both fictional. One is Steele, and the other is a legendary evil spirit known as a bargherst.

I think it is ridiculous that black dogs are stereotyped as 'evil.' All the black dogs I've ever met were friendly. Besides, the real Balto was black, and he helped save the children of Nome!

Hell yeah, major stereo-typing. There is nothing wrong with black dogs. People say that the devil takes his form within a black dog but its all myths. It depends on your beliefs but even so.. the Devil can't be inside EVERY black dog.

Black cats can be considered lucky. If they cross your path. However, if they follow you then they're apparently unlucky. Oh well.

That's no less stereotypical than saying that they're mean dogs, you know. Color does not make any animal more or less mean.

As if I didn't know that. Any dog can be mean or nice. A lot of black dogs are nice just like other dogs. ><

Sounds ignorant, like the other members said you can't take one group and example for the blame of that whole group, as noted I also see there is no viable connection for the argument.
