They did have it in the Olympics in 1932, Lake Placid as a demonstration sport.

I think they should bring it back. Mushing does take a lot of fitness and technical skill for handling the dogs. It's also not dominated by one specific country because plenty of other nations mush as well. I say if the Summer Olympics can have Equestrian, then the Winter Olympics should have mushing. It deserves it more than Curling.

Totally agree, the Iditarod is living proof of how hard the dogs and mushers train, they deserve proper recognition for it.

The mushers too. Its a sport for both dog and musher, to work together as a team.

I do think it should be an olympic sport. That would be pretty cool.
