I hate it when this kind of thing happens and I thought this thread might be a little comical to read so I thought I'd make one!

Anyway, What was the longest no-view drought for any of the 3 films for all of you and when did start and finally end.. you don't have to awnser if you don't want to.. I just wonder if anyone else hates this kind of thing as badly as I do?

The longest one I've had to deal with was (and this is just simply pathetic) almost 3 years and it began in December of 2004 and lasted up to the present time with the first and second films and I plan on putting this drought to rest tommorow when I replace them

Yes i have really been that broke since then but I have the income rolling back in now so I will be able to replace my prized collection when I have time!

I would never lend ANYTHING out to anyone at anytime! trust me it was a HUGE mistake because I never got any of my trilogy back in the same condition it left in!

If it started in December 2004, that's only 2 1/2 years, not 4.

My longest time is 10 1/2 years though. I rented it in fall '96. I did not see it again until exactly 3 weeks ago this day.

Wait... it was on Cartoon Network's Cartoon Theater at least one time in between then. I think I watched a tiny bit of that, but if I did, it wasn't even half of the movie.

What surprised me is how much of the movie I remembered when I watched it three weeks ago. I didn't remember it word for word, but I did remember all of the scenes and stuff, in spite of not having truly seen it for a decade.

I hadn't seen any of them for about a year and a half. About a month ago, my mom stumbled upon Balto 2 for my little bro. I was on the computer (as usual ) and I recognized the orchestral music when Aleu runs away.
But I was doing homework so I had to listen from the other room. As soon as I was done I dug out the movies and had a marathon of all three.

Wow, that's a long rent
I just bought myself a really good TV set (900€!) and I'll be sure to watch the films again on it. From what I've seen the dvd really isn't as good as it should be (very poor and "grainy" picture), compared to the quality of the Disney dvds. I'm saying this because the HDTV are more sensitive to the quality of the sources...(Proof is, even the sequels have better picture quality! And no, I'm not kidding...) Which is another reason to ask for a special edition of the film with a picture restore.

This is a bit offtopic, but : I am pleased to see that the TV auto resize format works really good. A 4/3 film like Balto 2 and 3 are resized to 16/9 without you can "notice" the aspect ratio change, and without much loss of the original picture. So yeah, definitely, the two sequels looks very good in widescreen...
Mmm, well to come back to the topic, it's been quite some time since I last saw the films...Maybe one year. But well, no one can watch them every day during years :)

Didn't they only show Wings of Change on one of the Disney channels? I think they only showed 1 and Wolf Quest on Cartoon Network.

Yes actually B3 did premiere on CN and actually( completely coincidental) I had posted a message on 1/29/05 about that particular premiere and since 1/31/05 I have seen it on there multiple times since then..

I have seen the first 2 films a countless number of times on both networks as well.

Actually it aired on CN a few days before its release on DVD in the US, which was more than two years ago.

Yeah, I'm the same way. There are just some movies (*cough* Balto *cough) that I just can't go long periods of time without!

Anyway, I' not really sure how long my drought was, but i know that it was a few years...

Now that I've got the VHS, I'm going to be able to watch it from time to time. At least once a year for the rest of my life. ^_^
