This is a little one sided, of course the PS2, Ur-Xbox, and GC have made more money then their newer counterparts. I don't know maybe they sold more new then old but lets face it the old consoles have had about 5-7 years on the markets.

Nintendo is ALWAYS making the most money...They even made more money with the Nintendo 64 than Sony with the playstation 1. And the console which makes the most money would be the nintendo DS, followed by the Wii...

Sony is losing about $200-$250 on each PS3 but later in it's life the PS3 will pay off. Gran Turismo 5 will help boost sales.

Not really....I havent seen many people reserve it. Forza seemed to have taken their market. and with the drop in hd-dvd, blu-ray might not last itself....also sony has lost so much with the ps3..they might need to sell abou give or take 10 million before profiting

Let me point out that the amount of money a system made cannot be formed into an opinion, it is a fact based on statistics.
EDIT: Additionally, to whomever says the PS3 is making the most money, you are very wrong. Sony loses money on each unit, as someone already pointed out. Sony may be able to make up for the lost money, though it seems somewhat unlikely. While (I'm assuming) the Xbox 360 and Wii and other such systems are profiting, Sony is trying to make up for the money lost on PS3, in other words, while other systems will be profiting, PS3 will just be breaking even. (Keeping in mind that that might not even happen.)
