Did anyone watch the two hour movie on abc last night (Jun 9)? It was about the great filly, Ruffian who was unbeaten at every race she ran. She was the best 2 year old filly in the country, yet she had a rival. Foolish Pleasure, the 2 year old Colt was also unbeaten. They were to race head to head, but when Ruffian barely lunged out of the gate, she took a miss step and collapsed, breaking her leg. She was euthanized
soon after, as there was no fixing it. Great story, Great horse
