I met the author in preson and i absolutely loved her! She signed my copy and i found out more about hte Native American history. I loved this story so much that i'm currently rereading it.

The Singing River Story is about a girl that notices how her life is slipping slowly out of her grasp into her ex-husband's control. Her daughters notice her stress. One Day, Lauren Rayburn (the main character) gets sucked down into a whorlpool that takes her back 400 years to the Pasagula People. TELL ME HOW YOU LIKE IT!!!!!!!!

It is! But the ending is bittersweet. It took me some time to catch onto the new character... but it came. I thought it was too sad to finish, then i re-read it anyway and found it was a bit sweeter! You'll never guess how!
