They could, but why would they play a prank like that?

I think they're real, but I personally think humans lived at the same time as the dinosaurs lived on the Earth. I'm not sure how they died out, but I'd like to find out. It's pretty easy for me to believe in something I cannot see or has died out a long time ago.

When I was young (about 7 or 8 ), I went through this whole dinosaur stage (as in, I loved them...a lot XD). I read up on them and have a huge book on them I got for Christmas. It tells you really cool facts about them and proof that they did live.

So my answer is yes, I do believe that once, dinosaurs did roam the earth.

I'm still belivin' it. From what I believe in, all creatures were created at the same time. I'd better not get into religion .

This whole "Dinosaur conspiracy" thing reminds of that Invader Zim episode with Bill the Paranomal Investigator in it..."Career Day" I think it's called

Anyway, I technicly have to agree with this logic:

It's possible that they're all fake, but there would have to be a reason behind it (I doubt they would go to all the trouble of creating tons of dinosaur fossils and things for no reason).

As for the religion thing, though I disagree with you, I'm not going to touch that...and please don't anyone else touch it or this'll dissolve into a flame war and the topic will end up being locked for all eternity. But let's not talk about that

most of them in a museum are fake. but dinasors are.. were real. that kinda forgery your talking about would be to great to be undescovored for so long. the first one was found in 1824. thats a long time to be getting away with something like that. also my grandfather spent about 6 years after he retired doing. archaeology... and then he ran for mayor. and lost... crazy old man...but thats not important lol.

Actually, the Komodo Dragon is not really even close to the dinosaurs. It's really a giant lizard. See how its legs jut out to the sides like those of "modern" reptiles? Dinosaurs had theirs directly underneath them, kinda like us. However, there are reports of a creature called Mokele-Mbembe (MO-ke-le BEM-bay) in the African Congo rainforest, and it is a dead ringer for a sauropod (or long-neck, to those less familiar with dinosaur names). I personally believe these reports, and suspect that they are connected to the Biblical account of the Behemoth (please note that although I believe the Bible in its entirety, I am referring to it here only for the role it serves as a "biology textbook"). I mean, let's face it: the Behemoth was obviously a land-dweller at least part of the time, since it ate grass and had legs. Plus, it had a tail like a cedar tree and bones "like tubes of bronze." No known land animal that has ever existed had that kind of power except a dinosaur. The Congo has also yeilded reports of creatures similar to ceratopsians (horn-heads), pterosaurs (fliers), and stegosaurs (spike tails). So there may still be dinosaurs. Komodo dragons just don't happen to be among them.

Yes, I definitely believe that dinosaurs existed. (Before humans.) And I'm NOT touching the subject of religion or other sensitive issues either, but I will say that I believe in evolution and all of that.

It's a little-known fact that there have been fossils discovered of dinosaur and human footprints side-by-side in the same strata (most likely one was following the other, for whatever purpose). So I'd say they had to exist at the same time. Besides, look at how much dragons resemble dinosaurs. No way that's just a coincidence.

If there are dinosaur fossils in historical museums,then yes I do believe them to be real.

It's slightly possible that dinosaurs could've existed when humans were around. Even today, species that were thought to be extinct for millions of years, show themselves such as the Coelacanth or the Laotian rock rat. However we're pretty sure that dinosaurs are gone for good these days. Even if a dinosaur were found today on a remote island somewhere, it'll probably be one of those chicken-sized dinosaurs.

But I do find it odd that every culture does have some sort of oversized reptile. If there were dinosaurs during the dawn of civilization, then they must've been on their last leg. The climate of modern Earth is far too chilly for the dinosaurs and the dinosaurs must've took a huge blow from the climate change when the comet/asteroid that hit the earth. Some say that the comet or asteroid wiped the dinosaurs completely off the map. I find that hard to believe because animals have a habit for survival, even in the most extraordinary circumstances. It's possible that only most of the dinosaurs were killed off, but a few might have survived. But the changes the Earth took were so drastic, they couldn't stay for long much after.

This is only an idea I thought up. So don't bother to cite me. And again, only a SLIGHT possibility.

Apparently, dinosaurs also had guns, since some dinosaur bones were said to have bullet holes in them. Honestly!
