I've only gone to two: Switchfoot and Relient K. They were really fun concerts (I saw the lead singer of Switchfoot upclose...and I was near the back of the room XD; Matt Theissen (the lead singer of Relient K) kept cracking random jokes ).

Lynrd and the Darkness were supportin Deep Purple, not much of a Lynrd fan either but Deep Purple were great!
More into Punk though but nothing wrong with good old rock n roll or metal. Ozzy Osbourne and Black Labal Society are coming to Birminham this summer, gunna see em

I've been waiting for this topic for a while now. I've been to quite a few shows during my 21 trips around the sun. I'll list 'em, and maybe something I remember about the show.
Band- Stone Temple Pilots, Red Hot Chili Peppers
-this was my first show, when I was 14. My mom and her friend took me and my sister and my mom's friend's kid to the show. It was pretty cool. It also gave me one of my all-time favorite quotes, from a guy who was staggering into the bathroom. He said, "I'm not drunk, I'm still drinking". Oh yes, it was funny.
Band- Slipknot, System of A Down, Rammstein, No One, American Head Charge
-this show was back in 2001. It was actually delayed a week because of September 11th. Rammstein was awesome, I've never seen so much fire in one act before. The singer lit himself on fire and sang a song, while guitars were shooting flames. It rocked out! My mom and sister and a whole bunch of friends of our family went with us. Good times, good times. No, I didn't mosh yet, I'll tell you the first show I was in the pit for.
Band- Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, Mudvayne, and openers I can't recall
-this was an awesome Christmas show. Ozzy came down from the ceiling in a sleigh filled with dead reindeer and Santa was crucified behind the stage. Awesomely sarcastic, I loved it! Also, Ozzy mooned our half of the audience, so I can say I've seen Ozzy Osbourne's butt, live and in person.
Band- Alice Cooper and openers I can't recall
-the first of the 3 times I've seen Alice. God, he rocks so much! I wanna see him again!
Band- Alice Cooper again
-this was cool, I was in the 5th row! Alice was about 10-15 feet away from me. That was a totally awesome show! My friend caught a guitar pick at the end too.
Band- Metallica, Godsmack
-what can I say? How could this show not be good? Metallica played all their old hits, James Hetfield rocked my socks, my mom, sister and I all had a wonderful time!
Band- Megadeth, Exodus
-a show that me and my uncle went to. This was the first show I moshed at. I forgot my ear plugs, and the show was so loud, it permanently damaged my hearing. Other than that, Megadeth was sweet! Truly a memorable and awesome show!
Bands- Hatebreed, Agnostic Front, Diecast, and openers I can't remember
-perhaps the best moshing show I've seen, ever. My uncles, sister, cousins, everyone was there. We had a blast and banged our heads all night long!
Bands- Motley Crue
-My sister and I went to this one. We had a great time. The Crue looked great, sounded great and looked like they were truly having fun. Also, Tommy Lee had a, well, certain "cam" that showed various audience member's showing, oh, certain body parts. And you gotta love that.
Bands- Billy Idol
-Dang, Billy is buff! He was awesome and I got his autograph on one of the paper plates he was throwing to the crowd.
Bands- Machine Head, Devil Driver, and openers I can't remember
-Probably the worst show I've seen. Devil Driver rocked, but Machine Head pulled out an acoustic guitar in the middle of their set and totally lost the audience. By that time, we'd all moshed our way through 3 or 4 bands and were tired. They just couldn't get the energy back up after that. A real disappointment. However, there was another good quote, this time from Devil Driver's singer. He stated, "This is our last song, so here's your chance to scream your *freaking* lungs out, sweat your *butt* off, and mosh as much as you *freaking* can."
Bands- Children of Bodom, Trivium, and openers I can't remember
-Children of Bodom ruled all. This was the first show I went to with my friends from college. We rocked out!
Bands- Rob Zombie, Lacuna Coil
-Lacuna Coil was pretty lame, but whatever. This was my first show at the legendary Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Also known as the Scare-agon or the Aragon Brawlroom. The shows there are always intense and rough. Plus the ballroom floor is wooden and the ceiling is painted. It's a totally awesome venue, go there if you're in Chicago.
Bands- Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon, Children of Bodom, Thine Eyes Bleed
-what a show. My mom was in there moshing during Children of Bodom. How cool is that? Slayer was beyond insane, and all the rest were rocking out. Plus, it was another show at the Aragon. I literally could wring the sweat out of my shirt afterwards, the sign of an awesome show.
Bands- Alice Cooper
-again! Again, it was awesome. Alice never disappoints and always puts on a wicked show. I'm sorry, no one is the showman that he is.
Bands- Iron Maiden
-slightly disappointed. They didn't play much old stuff, but they did play their new album all the way through. Which was ok, but not what I paid 50 bucks to see. I wanted all the old stuff. However, I did get to up the Irons and mosh in the biggest venue I've ever moshed in, the Allstate Arena. Good times, good times. Plus, it was my friend's first rock concert, and that's always a good time.
Well, there you have it folks. I've been to a bunch of shows, they were all a wicked good time.
