I recall the Harpy being a pretty scary and intense scene, if you're a little kid. I still find that thing creepy to this day.
The Red Bull is intense with roaring, saliva, and sharp teeth. Not to mention on fire.
The whole King Haggard realm is dark, gloom, and death.
The Drunk Skeleton is quite weird I must say.
Also they characters do say hell and (4 letter D-word) occasionally.
Kids won't be traumatized for life by watching it, but it certainly isn't a kid film.
