I'm sure you've all done your homework, and know how to properly pronounce the title right. XD

Anyway, for all you who haven't yet heard, it's Pixar's eighth animated movie. It's about a rat, named Remy, who dreams of becoming an exquisite French chef, but of course, that's going to be a little of a problem for him. So only by teaming up with a struggling human chef will he ever hope to make his dream a reality.

...So what are all your opinions?

It looks well-animated..

.. but as my friend said when we went to see POTC 3 and the trailer for this came up.. "Disney has seriously run out of ideas."

I might rent it out when it comes out on DVD.. I won't bother seeing it at the cinema. I guess it's a relief not to see another crappy sequel..

How can your friend say "Disney has seriously run out of ideas." when a plot like this has never been done? Come on! It's PIXAR. PIXAR has made the most original plots in the Disney collection. I have seen every movie PIXAR put out and every movie was very good because the people at PIXAR are overflowing with creativity. I believe the world they made in "Cars" was a work of art. They were able to take an absurd idea of talking cars and make it work. They also made everything in that movie revolve around a car theme like the mountains were shaped like car hoods and the clouds were skid marks, but those details blended into the scenery so well, you never noticed at first. That is art I tell you.

I will go see Ratatouille sometime without a question. This movie looks really good. The animation looks really good and the characters seem very alive. Plus it's PIXAR, so the plot and script will be well thought out.

When I first saw the teaser (I think that's what the short trailer with few clips from the movie is called) for this movie, I was intrigued.
You'll find me seeing this movie over the summer, even though it does seem a bit kid oriented...but...it still looks good

I look forward to seeing this, because so far I've LOVED every Disney/Pixar film to death. I'm actually a little concerned that it might not live up to the others....but I'm going to give it a chance. Pixar definitely deserves it.

It looks great, as do most movies that Disney has a hand in. I may go see it while I'm in Ohio... it looks like a great movie to see in a group.

Hmm, maybe, I won't argue since you're entitled to your own opinion.
I've just been pretty anti-Disney lately. -.-

That,my friend,is an understatement. A good company and/or prducer does not ALWAYS make good films and ideas. Make that judgement after you have seen this movie. I mean, no one ever dreamed disney would do bad but, look at it NOW. Its 2d films are so unpopular anymore. Seriously,no company is gonna be perfect. Nothing trying to bite at you here,I just find your statement a bit....well.....i don't know. I guess, its a fast statement to make when PIXAR is such a new thing still.

Fingers crossed, hopefully it'll be worthwhile. Pixar's been known to dish out some pretty descent stuff but it isn't nearly impossible for them to screw up. It sounds like I pretty original idea. Like I said, fingers crossed.

By the way, I didn't much care for Cars, but that has more to do with interest than whether the film was any good or not.
