I was just getting ready to do that!
Well, I have a few ideas that may help:
Like was stated already, look at images of the real thing. The fact that it is a photo and NOT moving will help greatly, as you can see the "real thing" without having to follow it around. What I suggest (I never did this, I have only heard of it as a recent idea in books and such, so I don't know how well it will work: To each his own), is to take a photo and print it. Then trace over it.
Now, this is what I actually do: I still trace over the image (I do it with humans, though XD), but I add the rough sketch of it first: The circles, and basic idea of the structure, and circles where the eyes would be, and so on. Then, I take my traced rough sketch off the photo, and add details, referencing from the photo itself. That is what I do, and it helped me so much with wolves, I can't even tell you... one year later I was drawing the way I have through my whole BS gallery. I'll have to upload a "Then and now" pic in my gallery, and explain this... it really helps me, it may help you, too.
Also, once you're feeling that you could produce a relatively anatomically correct wolf sketch (be messy! It's a sketch, don't worry about getting ANYTHING just right, make it messsssyyyyyyy!) I'll try and scribble some wolf pictures and upload them for you..... anyway, once you think you can, watch documentaries, or short film clips, etc on real wolves in motion. This is really fun! Again, make your sketch resemble a wolf, but be messy, don't try to get it all right, you're still only getting a feeling for the creature. Sketch some heads, some paws, too... being quick and jottily messy is the key, here, for many, including myself. You fix mistakes AFTERWARD, not now.

. So go to it. Obviously, it will prove difficult to draw anything because the wolves are moving. But that's what you want, you want to be able to create sloppy copies... even if it looks as if you could proclaim yourself Picasso of the Wolven world... you only want to feel for it.
Then, once you have that down (It may take awhile, don't rush yourself and don't get frustrated: that could be your downfall, if you get frustrated and quite, you'll never get anywhere), start adding some details, like the eyes, and paws... eventually, you'll get there.
It just takes lots and lots of practice. No single person ever got anywhere by luck, it was their drive to accomplish their goal.
