So i briefly glanced the first page and noticed DOOM wasn't listed

Just thought it deserved a mention and if anyone wants to share past experiences about it, such as first time playing it

For me DOOM was one of my first comp games along with Alone in The Dark 1-2, Civ 1, 7th Guest and some random Spitfire type game

Now for me back then I first played DOOM around 96-97 and was awed and terrified by the graphics, sound, creatures and darkness. Looking back now I still don't wonder how it scared me Especially the part when you first hear the roar of the bitey pink minotaur

Gah! lol but how?

The thing about DOOM was that it didnt need a story line, just you, your gun and a hell of a lot of hellspawn

Growing up with that game as a kid was great! But yeah if you didnt grow up with DOOM it could be harder to see what the hype about it is
