So I saw Balto a few days ago and loved it but I have read that the animation, look, voicing, setting and characters has been changed in 2 and 3?

I have heard not to good reviews about Balto 2 and 3 as well and I was thinking are they worth seeing? I enjoyed the first movie so much that it seems perfect in my mind and I'm wondering if Balto 2 and 3 would ruin the overall image of the first Balto due to what I've heard :/

Are the sequels worth seeing? Or if they aren't as good and to much was changed would it be best to just keep the first Balto film in memory???

Yah, they are both worth a look. The animation is not as good but they both do have a few good points.

Ok yeah fair enough, good to hear another opinion but from screenies, does Balto's coat change from scruffy grey, to clean, to brown? :P

Oh and are Star, Kaltag and Nikki in em? They 3 of my fave secondary type characters

Nikki, Kaltag and Star aren't in the sequels (apart from some cameo appearances in WoC), but I still enjoyed both. They aren't nearly as good as the original, though.
And yes, there are bloopers galore in both, and this includes Balto's coat changing all the time. The animation is pretty much crap, especially in WQ (though the animation is smoother in WoC, it's a little too smooth. The dogs BLUR when they're running, and it doesn't suit Balto at all. Plus there's way too much 3D animation).
They are worth seeing, though. The plots are good.

EDIT BY TOGO: Please don't talk about illegal stuff on Balto Source.

If you saw the first one and you loved it, DO NOT see the other two. They are of MUCH poorer quality than the first one, with animation, storyline, and charm. NOTHING about the last two movies is anywhere near as good as the first movie. But unless you like seeing how dumb certain films are, go see it. But I'm telling you, they disgust me to this day.

Well I bought the first Balto DvD by Amazon.com and after reading the replies here I think I won't watch the 2nd or 3rd, this is because it seems that to much has changed, I know that to carry on a sequel your unlikely to get a thrilling storyline if you pretty much copy the first but with the dumping of old characters, changing of new and adding new characters completly new setting/ voices I dont think I want to see 2 and 3. Unless I end up growing to curious :/

Hmmm tell me this, do they do sing along songs in Balto 2 and 3? I havent watched any other Land Before Time movies after the first one due to the more obvious points they try to make and their ***** songs -_-

+ gutted about Star, Nikki and Kaltag not being in the sequels like the first Balto movie, they rule!

Yeah, you should see them. But dont be dissapointed if there not very good. The animation changes alot, same with the voices. But see them anyway. Never know, maybe you will like them.

I hate to say it, but yes they sing. The songs fortunately aren't the cute and annoying kind of songs. But I wouldn't say the songs are that great either.

In Balto 2, I think there are two songs. In Balto 3, I only recall one. So you don't have too much pain to sit through.

Actually, I don't think there are any in Wolf Quest. Sure, there was that "Somebody's coming to take you home" thing, but they weren't singing along to that.
In WoC, there are two. One is tolerable, one is... ARGH. Stella's song, sung by a flirty goose? Tolerable much? The other is sung by Jenna, and it's OK. But I can't imagine Jenna randomly singing.
