I know that this is a forum and you can post anything you want as long as its appropriate and on-topic. Fanart belongs in the fanart section and subjects like "What's your favorite way to be an idiot?" belong in the Other section. But what I don't get is why you have to make a topic for EVERY. LITTLE. THING you do.

Like, let's say you drew a picture and you want to show it to everyone on the forums! That's cool right? Well, let's say you drew another one. And another. And another. AND ANOTHER. AND ANOTHER. AND ANOTHER. Until FINALLY you have what would be considered an entire forum dedicated to your drawings!

OR! Let's say you started hiccuping! And you wanted to count how many times you hiccuped that day. And you hiccuped again. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. AND AGAIN. Until FINALLY you have a week's worth of topics on the forums for each individual hiccup you ever did that day!

Not only is that fricken annoying to see your name there 35643 times, but it takes up unnecessary space! And it also takes away attention from, dare I say, BETTER topics.

Now, I've been drawing my entire life. And say I drew 5 pictures EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. And let's also say that out of those 5 pictures, 2 of them were Balto-related. Now, how fair would it be if I made an individual topic for EACH 13,870 drawings. That'd be pretty fricken annoying wouldn't it? Wouldn't it be less annoying AND less of a hassel for MYSELF if I just put ALL of those drawings in ONE TOPIC? Yeah!

SO WHY DON'T YOU FREAKING DO IT? It's not brain surgery! Spare us all from seeing your name an obscene amount of times and just make ONE TOPIC FOR YOURSELF. If you have something ELSE you want to put on the forums and it has nothing to do with your OTHER topic post, then make another for THAT thing! My God! There are people out there who'd have a fricken aneurysm just thinking about doing something THAT difficult

Why no one else has noticed this yet is BEYOND me, but I must say I LOVE how people bend the rules for one person. I don't care how "good" you are at whatever the heck you're posting about, no one cares about it THAT much that you have to make a CNN Newsflash every time you do something in your life besides twitch!

I understand what you mean Cat. I mean, someone has recently made a different topic for each drawing/character.

Now, if it were different fan fictions, I can understand one (or two) posts for the individual one to avoid those who would be like "Uh... the fanfics don't have the same characters. Where do they fit in with one another *billybobface*?"

Now, my "Kirada's Doodles" topic was revived by me after a month or so, because I was too lazy to go back to it. At least I'm not like

No, no. I make a topic for my general drawings (I call them doodles). Now, a rant is a rant, but if you have a spoof and wanna see what other people do with their day, I can understand a topic like "What's your Daily Schedual?" or something.

But otherwise, I don't think it's right for people to do all of that. Though, I tend to rant a lot when I get angry. -_- But each different "topic" relates to a different stimulant. Though, there was one rant I had that was multiple rants all smushed into one.

Anyway; keep ranting. You have a loud voice and strong opinion, express them and work them to the death.

I've seen many, many, MANY people do this. For instance. wee-ranna posted topics of like...pure face-punches. You click on the topic with some enthusiasm and hope it is a useful topic. Then, BAM! The spam and CRAP comes at you like a...face-punch .

Someone, who joined after I did, had 5x more posts than this account's posts and my previous account's posts COMBINED. And I've been here for like...2 years total. I admit my posts have been degrading lately, but this person is just plain retarded.

100% agree with you cat! Although i have done that before but not as bad as what some people are doing. I guess they just want to be everywhere so they can get the most comments and have all the attention. Dosent really work that way if you ask me you just spamed the forum congratz!

Old people with no memory can stay on better focus, and remember their other topics. And crazy old people wouldn't make 69704 topics if they were BSer's.

Wow, I could win an award for that! I did notice this... I don't look on the forums too much, I just pop on, do what I have to, and leave (RPing at the moment). SO, I didn't get too frustrated with it. I did consider making a topic about it, like this one you did here, but it didn't annoy me enough, and I figured that someone who had a better reason to rant should do it first, they'd have more reasons, ways to stop it, etc....

One thing I would add to your originall post, though, would be something about how you can put a "Updated on @/@@/@@" at the end of your topic's title, so we know when the topic was updated... that way, we can count how many more hiccups you did today, than yesterday.

Well, the french seem to have understood that, at least for fanarts : they only make one topic where they put all of their drawings into.
Should I add a rule about that? (For fan creations only, it would be more difficult to apply this elsewhere)

I think this could also stem to other topics as well, like when someone makes a topic about a show, it should encompass the whole show characters and all
I hate seeing the topic "Do you like so-and-so?" when there is the topic for the show right next to it.

people should get warned (depending if they are new) or get banned (if they are older members) for doing anything like this.

well i think that everyone might as well have their own forums ..then they can post all the rubbish they want on it!lol it can be annoying when people post useless topics..i must admit i have posted a uesless topic before and now i regret it..it was locked tho so that was ok and ill never do it again!
