How and when did you first see the movie?

I didn't include any kind of online method since I doubt anyone first saw it on Youtube or anything.

I first rented it on VHS. It was in Fall 1996 I think. Either that or 1997. It was one of the very, very few movies I watched more than once during a rental.

I rented it from a local, independent movie place which closed a long time ago. Really, I miss that place.

Sorry but I think that this topic is already made but I first watched Balto at my old childhood friend's house. I fell in love with it the first time that I saw the movie!

My grandparents owned the movie, and we would watch it whenever we got the chance. They ended up giving my family the movie and me and my siblings would watch it every winter after we played in the snow. We would eat cookies and drink hot chocolate while watching it. We loved the part where Boris ate snow chips and the part where Boris danced that...dance thing XD. Ah, the good old days. *cough* Now we're all too old for 'kid' movies, but I know they'll watch it with me one day XD. Besides, I've already claimed it. When we're all old, I'll have Balto at my house and I'll invite everyone over one winter evening and we'll all watch it together, just like we used too.

XD I got off topic a bit. I own it on VHS, by the way.

in theater 1995. went with my mom and a friend. i cant remember what friend it was though lol. but i no he/she was there.

I never saw it in theaters...did they really have it in theaters?? :shock:

I know Balto when i was a child around 1996, and i think DVD still not exist so i watch Balto using old vedeo tape!

Ok.. let me get this right because I get confused xD

I remember seeing the trailers in 1995 but never actually went to see it. I then saw bits of it in about 1999 on SKY with my nan and little sister. I saw all of WQ when it came out on video. Then I realized that I actually owned two of the KFC Balto figures but wasn't sure who Steele was at the time. This inspired me to find out more and I came across Fluke's Tribute to Balto site and then I bought the DVDs and watched all of Balto.

It does exists, and if they didn't release it in your country, try to see in which DVD region you are, you'll probably be able to get it from another close country, by ordering it on the web for example.

Well, I'd sure think so. Something this basic has to have been discussed before. I wasn't here though, and I don't find it fair if I wasn't allowed to talk about it just because I'm a latecomer.
