Ermm...Here goes nothing.

I made this topic so newer members know what "mods" are. I've seen several newbies go on the shoutbox and ask around...so, instead, you can just look here.

Moderators or "mods" for short are members who are appointed by steet to-you guessed it-moderate! Basically, they delete stuff that shouldn't be there, allow you to submit fan creations, and ban people. There are different kinds of mods: fan art, fan fiction, comments, questions, etc. If you look on a person's comment, they should have a ranking. If they are moderators, they will have something like "Questions mod" on their comment. If they are not, they will have just "Member" by their name.

Those who moderate articles, for instance, accept or deny what you send in.

Those who are forum mods can lock topics, move them, or change posts (as far as I know).

You should get the point by now. If not, then just ask your questions here!

Also, a "mod" will never ask you for your password...So anyone who does is just pretending...

There is one thing to always keep in mind:

Your chances of being a mod are slim, but you will completely obliterate them by asking steet to be a mod (steet will not let you be one, most likely)

I think you've made a very good description, but newbies will most probably not read it and keep asking...

I'd like to add...Mods can and will someday ban you because you did something bad...I haven't been banned yet, but cat's description isn't too promising. Read from bottom up...

catwhohas14tails (3 min) : The fourth stage is depression. You will throw 's at the mods, trying to get them to feel sorry for you. You will even tell them thing slike your grandma died or your entire family has cancer to get them to be all "AWW! OK, YOU'RE UNBANNED!" But it won't happen cuz everyone knows that when steet makes someone a moderator, they give them their heart so that they feel no shame in banning anyone

You will say things like "Ok, if you unban me, I will never drop the F-bomb in that ten-year old's gallery ever again!" You may even offer money or even someone else's banment in return!

catwhohas14tails (6 min) : The second stage is ANGER. You will throw all kinds of cursewords at the mods who banned you, and even the mods who weren't even on at the time and have no idea who you ever are. You will call people stupid, only emphasizing the fact that you yourself were stupid.

catwhohas14tails (7 min) : Your first stage starts with denial. You deny that you ever did anything wrong to be banned and you will stop at nothing to make sure your name is cleared. Even if what you did was WRONG BEYOND ALL HUMANITY
