It doesnt make since for people to reply a year old topic when that person isnt around. Should you lock it?

Some topics dont need to be locked if no one cares about them. If one is brought up, then it may be locked for this fact. But thats the least of problems here - I'd say the biggest is SPAM.

Well, actually I don't mind at all that people bring back old topics, AS LONG as this is for posting something interesting. (and not just "I agree", as I've often seen)
