No you shouldn't be embarrassed. I'm 19 and I love Balto as well! I love cartoons in general, always have. I'm a child at heart. Be proud of being a Balto fan!

That's not fair of them, but don't let it bother you. My parents think my liking cartoons is dumb too but I know they just don't understand, and I'm not going to try and explain it over and over again.

Oh my... a movie that doesn't have extreme violence, sensuality, or language. It HAS to be for little kids. "Mature" films have to have taboos.
I'm 17 and a junior in high school and I thought it was pretty nice. Balto is not just for kids. Just because it has immature polar bears, and some overreactions from characters, the rest of it was perfectly mature.
So what if you like a cartoon. Would your mom rather you be watching cheap slasher films?

gah, you guys really need to seperate "for kids" and "for all ages" movies. they're not the same.
Balto is a movie for all ages. there are some scenes that a child might not understand. like "why is everyone hate Balto?" "who is the white wolf?" "why are they howling together?" "
honestly, my 1st time watching Balto I was 5. and I couldn't understand what happened in the white wolf scene. why Balto put his paw on the pawprint. and a lot more questions. I understand everything later when I's 10 and rewatch Balto again.
I'm now 17, people. I still love Balto and I'm pround. my parents let me be. I still enjoy watching a lot of animation films. I even MAKE them watch with me XD.

Nice decision, Togo.
Anyways, Balto isn't for kids only no matter what you say. I've seen adults watch these movies as well. And they loved em.

No, its not just for kids because it was made way back when people made movies for the entire family.

I'm fifteen and I love Balto.
It may have been aimed for children but it makes me laugh and has a deeper meaning.

So do I...
I'm feeling that some of you lie about their age, though.
