I'm actually right in the middle of Fire Star right now. I think it's wonderful how 2 separate storylines converge the way they do in this book, although this is what can make it a bit confusing at times. It can be a little diffucult to grasp everything that's going on, as well as keep track of all the characters, but so far, it's got me hooked. :]

I read The Fire Within -- literate and good, with no doubt, but I was a tad disappointed. It seemed to focus more on squirrels than dragons...

So with that said, I don't think I am getting the two sequels. Maybe, but I doubt it. Perhaps once I run out of books..

Maybe you should try reading them in order. XD Fire Star deals a lot with dragons. But from my gathering, they're not actual dragons -- more like golems [clay manipulated by the force of life, usually through magical means]. And..err....it's actually kinda philosophical and theological. They debate the origin of life and the universe, throwing out theories and legends you kinda wonder how it ties into the plot.

I love them all. I wish the fourth book would hurry up and be released in the U.S. though. :?
