dont you just hate it when in peoples comments all you se is kool or nice..there is never a nice long comment..im not complaining about my gallerys comments realy..it just annoys me thats all..i know peeps have no time to right commentsbut i do and im busy all the time :roll:

Have you thought about maybe they clicked on your gallery but, they just don't have the time to type up a whole paragraph of how wondefully beautiful your art is...People like to look at art but, they do have lives outside the virtual world you know...

Yes, yes, I know what you mean. Frankly, if you ask me, a one-word comment is either (1.) Spam or (2.) a waste of time and space.

It's better when they say "I like your (insert title here) picture!" or they say "Wow! I love your art! Keep up the great work!"

It's "nice" and "good" and things like that which bother me. It makes me go "Uh... *cough*learntobettermanageyourtimeandvocabulary*cough*" lol. But it's true. People are just lazy these days, though.

If someone just posts a small and or one word comment, most of the time I ignore it and not post back to them. In example, with my gallery: Wolf-Lion always posts crits and what not on my drawings. He actually takes the time to post feelings, and i post mine back. With simple comments like; cool; nice; awsome; cool pic, I just don't respond. If they don't have time to wright you something they mean you shouldn't have time to respond. ;D Try hard not to let it get to you. ;D

Ummm, busy or not, if people have nothing useful to say, then yes it is annoying. It is pathetic. "O i dunt hav enuf time 4 comments..." YES, THAT IS WHY YOU ARE ON BALTO SOURCE, BROWSING ARTICLES AND GALLERIES?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Why don't these people stop? There are no more member points to work for, so...really no need to spam.

Eh, it's debatable.

On the disadvantages side, it's a little vague and the artist doesn't gain much from it. And I suppose it could also be considered spam since it's only a one-word message.

But at least you know the person LIKES your work. XP
