Well, the cd has finally been released. With very little praise from LP lovers and reviewers alike. The CD is just a ton of love ballad with only a couple actually good songs. TO be blunt, it was pretty crappy. I heard it myself and well its just such generic rock that it's sad.

Hybrid Misfit wrote: I want to say that the album is not a collection of love songs. The tried and true LP equation is Hate + Anger + Screaming = Meteora or Love + Confustion(sp?) + Screaming = Hybrid Theory. But now the equation is Love + Hate + Anger + Saddness - Screaming = Minutes to Midnight. So LP's lyrics (Have you heard them?) are very similar to the reast of there albums just without a screaming cover.
I agree
but u have to remember that Chester has went through a lot with his luv life and all with children so it must be hard to keep that inside and not write about it

I listened to it and found that while a little different from their previous albums , that it was still pretty good.

I went out a bought it yesturday. I can't really say anything against it since there's nothing wrong with it. I knew they had changed their style entirely but, yea, it's really different.
I feel that it was worth every penny of the $14 i payed for it. They did really good with the guitar in 'No More Sorrow'
I can't single out any track as a favirote, but I have been listening to 'Bleed It Out' and 'No More Sorrow' alot.

Kari wrote: I love this album. And, frankly, I like the slower songs. Who cares if there isn't a lot of screamo? They have to try something new eventually. I like this style a lot better than their old one, actually. It's my kind of music.
Oh, and Mike is a good singer.

I got it the day after it came out.
I love it. What I've Done is alright.. but they play it too much on the radio for my liking.
