My Horse :(

My horse foundered a month or two back. The vet said she was overwieght, and that she needed to lose 75-100 pounds (not reallt a lot for a horse). The vet said keep her up 6 weeks, no grass. Just keep her in the barn. Then, after that, 3 weeks of dry pasture Okay, after gong to the barn 2 times a day carring gallons of water, it got tiering.

Well last week, we started letting her back out since it was time. She's lost weight, but then today, she started showing signs of foundering again...

So now we have to start the process again, but how can we do that if we have camping trips set in stone in 2 weeks? I have school finals comming up and I'm already stress. Worst of all, my parents are concidering selling Beauty. :cry:

Will you all keep us in prayer? Or atleast my Beauty-Bear?

Well, if you don't have time for her selling her would be the best thing for her health. It may be hard but, if it's for her own good...

I hope you do find time for her though, I would be to tears if I had to sell my horse or my dog. Good luck to you!

I really do hope that your horse gets better, but you will have to keep in mind that maybe selling her would be the best thing for Beauty. It will be hard but you could find someone that lives near you, that way you can always go over and see her and still be able to spend time with her. Best of luck for you and your horse!

Yeah. It's great to hear some improvements. As a shaman of the Indians would've said it: Echee yak me rachi or translated: "Spirits be with your horse."

(Now, I have no knowledge in the indian language. Just inventing some stuff, and just trying to sound like a professional, which I am not... and I'm contradicting myself now, ain't I?)
