I, personally love skiing. its not for old people. its more challenging to master than snowboards. snowboards are the easy way out. (no offense) and for people who want to do tricks. I ski at Sunday River. (Bethel Maine) http://www.sundayriver.com/index.html Its awesome! The middle/high schools have a ski club, that goes 4 times a year. sometimes they also go to killington VT. This has been my first year skiing, and i love it.

Neat place! Yes I've heard that before; "Its easier to learn skiing, but harder to master, snowboarding is hard to learn, easy to master".

My brother said those exact same words to me.

I personally like skiing. I find that I have more control with a pair of skis than a board. I tried snowboarding twice and couldn't turn. But with a pair of skis, I just go down the hill with speed and control. So much better for me.

But I actually like cross-country skiing. That gives you a workout!

I've always wanted to snowboard or ski, problem is the nearest slope is 900-1300 kilometres away...

I live in one of those surf places ;) which to be honest never really interested me, I don't really like water. You guy and gals are so lucky to be able to do that sort of stuff

Snowboarding all the Way! I don't have a board, but I ride Burton! I'm Regular stance, too. I love Park, and Freeride, but not pipe or powder.
I can do Flatspins, Manuals, F/S and B/S 180's, 50-50's, and B/S and F/S Lipslides and Boardslides. Since I'm in Ohio, I go up to New York to this place called Peek N Peak. Ever heard of it? I'd love to go on the trip. You'll just have to give me the date, details and directions. Thanks for posting this, Doby!
Take Care,
-Ariu
