It seems that some people just to conclusions way too quickly.


Let me further explain myself. Let's say, for instance, I am posting a response on a topic, and the person above me thinks I said the statement to them. So they get angry and hello; flame war at three o'clock.


This has defiantly got to be one of my pet peeves; when an individual is either too suspicious or too stupid to think about things before yelling out "J'accuse!" Seriously, that really grinds my gears; and I've had to talk my way out of some real life situations because the people are too dumb to think anything else.

But I digress. Is there anyone else who has had this problem? And is it as annoying as I think?

Very Very Very annoying on my part i think. They dont really think before they post.I hate it when they get up all in your face and wont stop yelling. Like hello i wasent even talking to you!

To answer the topic, yah, I hate it, I get quite annoyed at the way people only read what they want to read, regardless of what's actually been said, many good topics have been locked because of flame-wars.

Yeah, people seem to switch to defcon-1 quite easily here.
The best way to avoid fingers pointed at you, death-gazes, CAPITAL-responses and other indignation is to start every comment with 'You have a point there, but I just think...', and then just say whatever it is you had to say, regardless whether the other guy did in fact had any point whatsoever. It feels a bit like lying at first, though.

No, seriously, the best way to avoid this is, like I pointed out before, just caring less. This is exactly what I meant when I said [see relevant rant-topic] everyone needs to start being a bit less militant and more indifferent.
