Role-Play Starters/Joiners

Okay, I have thhis nagging me so much. Does anyone get ticked off when you join a Role-Play and the person who started it never replies? I keep thinking about it because I've joined over 5 role-plays by different starters and they NEVER reply! It really gets on my nerve! Then when you PM them they refuse to reply or leave! What about people who also join the RP as an important character? Don't you also hate when they never reply? I sure do and I don't like PMing them. It seems rude to me. So I don't but there should be some sort of rule or something on this don't you?

How about you? Do those people get on you're nerve?

Hmmm... I have seen RPs that "Go dead," when everyone just seems to mysteriously dissappear.... I'm RPing in an RP right now, in which the maker left, and never answered my two PMs, but she replied to others I sent her before, during and after, about another RP I am doing with her. So I just took it over, and am RPing her character, with two other people... one of the original people left when she did, but neither she, nor the maker, said anything.

I've played in another GREAT RP where the maker just quit... and so did everyone else. It was getting fun too, but... apparently, she just quit, she had other things going on, and I can understand. Should've said something though...

But yeah, I don't know if a rule will reinforce it, how much can you do, besides ban people? But I guess, if this was a sort of threat, it wouldn't happen so much.

Yes I do hate it when they don't reply. Its as if they don't want you to rp with them XD

Well I do hate when they're also only reply if its THEIR RP frusterats me I mean seriously they won't even be on and they'll reply!

This ticked me off soooooo bad! I made a role play and 5 people joined. We started and 2 never replied. I PMed them and one finally replied, one problem! The post didn't even go along with the plot! The other never replied and I said "whatever, Im saving my rp! If you dint want to post you don't have to! We'll move along" and we continued. Then someone got pissed because there char was being ignored so my rp died -_-

I don't know why people do this but I can list some rpers that are loyal. Im in an rp that had like 15 ppl in it and none posted. I posted and know we are continuing with 3 ppl.

The only way to deal with these ppl is to ignore them and skip over, that's what I do any way. They don't realize that when you join an rp it means that YOU have to post and that YOU cant just stop posting.

What ticks me off more is when the owners make a rp and then don't post and make 5 more and complain "all my rps died!!!" just look up and the page and you can find these ppl. Some are good and just make like 5 and continue with it! They have a lot because they like making decent rps.

I agree. It's REALLY annoying, it kind of send the message that you're not responisble enough to keep track of what YOU started and how angry that must make the members who actually POST. I'm not pointing fingers or ANYTHINg, but if the person does not post for a good reason (i.e. computer crash, death, etc.) that's fine. But if, perhaps, that person ends up never posting in their RPs, it's showing that they are rude and inconsiderate and iresponsible. My motto: Don't start something you can't finish.
Whew...that my spheel...man I've never ranted so much in my life. 2 in one day? Man, today's a bad day.

Not always, yes I've done things simalar. I've started and RP but needed to go. For all you could know mabye an alien just rang there bell. Or there friend asked them out. Some people don't try to be rude.
