Well i'v wanting to start a new Fanfic and this is what I have so far:

Chapter 1:

Another hard push, and Luna had given birth to the only healthy pup. Her other three had died, and her tears soaked their lifeless bodies. The only one that had survived, was a dark grey male. Luna tried to wipe her tears as she licked the pup dry and pulled him to her nurturing body. Her mate could only comfort her in one of her brightest and yet, one of her darkest times. Strider watched the pup suckle on the warm milk that Luna supplied.

"It's ok...my dear," Strider whispered softly. his voice was friendly and comforting. Luna did not even bother to look up. she curled around the pup and made sure that he wouls stay warm. Strieder frowned as he looked at each one of the dead pups. "I'll...be right back," Strider whispered as he gently placed all three of the pups on his back and left the den. He was going to bury, yet again, another small litter of pups.

The day was a silent one for the pack. There was no hunt that day, so the hunters lounged in the tall grass and watched the sky moved. Or watch other pups frolick with the other animals of the forest. But Luna stayed in the den with her only pup. The years before, she had lost her entire litter. but she was thankful that this year she would have a pup. Luna watched over the pup as he slept. Ahe began to think of a name that she would give her only son. She wanted to think of something, other than the great loss that she had just experienced.

Strider returned to the large clearing and went to the den. Strider crept over to his mate. "You ok now..." Strider asked softly. Luna nodded and nuzzled her mate. "I'm fine..' she replied. Luna looked back down at the pup. "I..want to think of a name," Luna said softly. Strider gave Luna a slight smile and looked down and the small grey male. Luna looked deep into Strider's golden eyes. "How about Kruz?" She asked. Strider thought deep and hard. He had never heard a name such as that before. It was unique. "That's a good name...Kruz..." Strider replied. He continued to repeat that name in his mind several times. 'This name will never be forgotten'!. Strider thought.

Time went on, as it will do.

I'll post more of chapter one if wanted.

Alright Here I go:
***********************
Kruz sat on his favorite slab of rock and satred out across the valley. It was dawn, the only time that he wasn't being constantly being checked up on by his parents. He new why they were always worried, because he was their only aon and they didn't want to lose him. Even though he was flattered that his parents cared so much about him, it was annoying at times. Kruz inhaled the crisp morning air. There were few trees in this part of the forest, he liked it that way. This way he could see more of the entire forest.

It was not much longer that he heard footsteps approching. Kruz instinctively leaped off from the slab and crouched low. ready for any attack. But the only thing that came from the direction was his father. A stern look was splashed across his face. "Good morning son," Strider said with a firm voice. Kruz smiled sheepishly, "Hey dad," he said begining to walk towards the clearing. "Why are you walking away? I didn't say anything mean did I?" Stridder asked. Kruz turned and faced his father. "Sorry, it's just...I thought you would get mad if you saw me here," Kruz explained, his ears folded tight against his skull. Strider chuckled softly and smiled. "Oh come on, its your mother's fault and mine that you want to get away. You deserve a little privacy," Strider replied. He gave a yawn and began to walk back to the clearing. Kruz smiled and began to walk alongside his father. "Thanks dad," He said softly. Strider smiled. "Just be careful.." he replied.

Immediatly after they got back to the clearing, Strider went back into the den, where his mate awaited him. Kruz smiled and lay down in the soft grass. It had been a while since he had actually had gotten a chance to lay down in the lush green. Even at a year old, Strider and Luna still wanted him to stay in the den at night. It was just for his safety, and Kruz new that. But once again, just a little annoying. Kruz smiled and chuckled softly as he watched the sun rise high into the morning sky.

Only an hour later had the pack begun to wake up. The hunters had lfet earlier than dawn to go search for food and the days activities continued. Kruz had managed to slip away from all of it to train his skills in a private spot in the forest. It was surrounded by a type of bush that he wasn't certain of, but it gave off a clean scent that strongly over came his. Here he spent most of the day, slashing away at a tree, or running from this spot to the edge of the forest and back. It surprised him that his mother never actually found him. His overprotective parents had gotten so caught up in all of the activity that happen ed back at the clearing, that they didn't have much time to nag him anymore. This seemed too good for Kruz.

I have to go But I will be back, with a post.

Nice! I like how Kruz understands that his parents worry about him. He seems nice and very wise. At least he loves his family. Can't wait to see more! :) howl.gif

Well Keep watch, There's more.

*************************

The day had been slow for Kruz. It seemed that the hours were like an entire day each. But the day went on, Kruz ran around the forest in search of something to do. But there was not much. He couldn't even find a single squirrell or deer for lunch. Kruz gave a heavy sigh as his stomach twisted and turned. "Soooo...Hungry," Kruz complained, lying down in a soft mesh of grass. Kruz lay there for a while. Then a loud howl could be heard, echoing across the forest. It was not soft and harmonious, but loud and filled with pain and wreckage. Kruz recognized the voice, it was his father. Something was wrong. Kruz could feel a rock settle in his stomach. This was going to be pretty.

Kruz sprinted as fast as his young legs and lungs could withstand. He came to his packs clearing. Only to find his pack in a large circle, which created an arena for two wolves in the center. His father and another packmate. He recognized his father as the one lying lifelessly on the ground. His once bright, silver pelt, was now stained with a dark red crimson.

Kruz gasped as he saw his father, bloodied and wounded. The other wolf, was Bider. A male who his father had picked up as a loner. They had treated him with respect and gave him a place in the pack. But now he had turned against their leader. Bider cricled Strider and laughed mancingly. "So, this is your alpha!?" Bider yelled questioningly. "This is nothing but a mere whelp!" He continued.

Kruz couldn't bare to watch his father die. He jumped into the middle of the circle and rammed Bider with his shoulder. "Get away from him!" Kuz screamed as he swiped Bider's muzzle with a mighty swing of his paw. Kruz ran to the center , to his bleeding father. "Dad...?" Kruz asked softly. His father's eye opened only halfway and his chest roseweakly. "Kruz...I'm...sorry," Strider scoffed. Kruz nudged his father's chin and whimpered as he felt tears come to his eyes. Strider's chest rose and fell, rose and fell again. But it did not rise a third time. His eyes stayed open, but they lacked definition and seemed to be staring into nothing. There they stayed, haunted.

Kruz whimpered and cried as he continued to nudge his dead father. Not wanting to accept the mere truth. "No...dad please...please wake up..." Kruz pleaded. Kruz bowed his head, but it quickly rose, and a howl came with it. Kruz poured a song of his father into the howl. His life, his death. Many of the pack members joined in. Some just wanted to keep quiet.

Bider arose from the spot he had landed. Four deep cuts decorated his muzzle. A growl erupted from the back of his throat and he lunged at Kruz. They tumbled for a while, and when they stopped, kruz landed under Bider. Bider slashed at Kruz's muzzle continuously. Kruz struggled under the larger wolf's immense weight. The sharp pain ran through him like his own blood. Bider stoped and bit Kruz's Hind leg, he dragged him for a while before forcefully throwing him at a large oak tree. Kruz hit the tree with immense force. and before he could completely stand, Bider had lunged for him and clamped another leg in his jaws. Kruz howled out in pain. And he was flung once more. kruz landed near his father with a loud thud. Bider came closer and closer. "I was only going to kill your father," Bider explained in a low voice. "But you seem to want death," Bider said stopping at Kruz's nose. "And if you don't...then...Run!" Bider exclaimed. Kruz scurried to his aching legs and ran in the opposit direction. "Kruz!" His mother screamed. She had been watching the fight helplessly. But Kruz did not stop running.

Kruz for miles. And he would not stop.

Alright, Here's more:

********************************

Kruz went on for miles. His pain did not matter. Only his fear drove him through the wide spread of trees and grass. Kruz knew that he would faint sooner or later from loss of blood. But, once again, Kruz's fear pushed him beyond his limits. And he not only left a trail of blood. But a trail of tears as well.

Kruz never imagined that he would lose his father. He never wanted to lose anyone in his family because they were all so important to him. His entire pack, the only thing that sustained his living. It was gone now. He couldn't live without his family and friends. But he would have too.

Kruz began to feel weary. It was getting dark, and he had lost all sense of direction. His motions slowed when his vision began to blurr. Kruz swayed back and forth, trying to maintain his balance and stay awake. But it was useless, Kruz felt his body flop down onto the ground. His eyes stayed open halfway. Kruz wanted to go on, to keep running and exit uhis pack territory. But the more Kruz thought about exerting his energy. The weaker he became. Kruz's vision began to darken as his eyes drooped further. Then, all went black.

Chapter 2

The night came and it was Hunter's time to stride the wilderness for a while. The panter strode into the darkness. Observing all ther was to see. He enjoyed the night because it was always so peaceful. the daytime was loud with the chatter of birds and squirrells. Especially in summer. Hunter smiled as he came to a small stream that cut into the dense trees and brush. Hunter went to the streams edge and lapped up some water. After quenching his thirst, Hunter lay down in the tall grass and rolled around. He chuckled softly to himself and sniffed the air. A different scent. The scent of a wolf, mixed with blood. Hunter quickly jumped to his paws and followed the scent to the source. He was hoping it was not too late.

Hunter didn't go far from the stream until he found a grey wolf. Not too large, he assumed it was no more than a year old. The more hunter examined the wolf, the more shocked he bacame. The wolf had bruises and gashes all over his body. His breaths were slow and small. hunter worried for the wolf's health and quickly steralized the wounds with his tounge. Making sure the wolf didn't lose anymore blood.

Hunter noticed that the wolf had landed on a small pile of rocks. Hunter picked up the wolf and took his to his space near the stream. He set the wolf down and looked staright down at his pitifully. "He's not too good," Hunter said softly. hunter sighed and took a spot next to the wolf. "But he'll be fine," He said reasurringly. Hunter slowly closed his eyes and went to sleep. Completely confident of the wolf's recovery.

Morning came slowly. The sun rose with it. Kruz's eyes slowly opened and he absorbed the morning air into his lungs. He was still weak. Kruz rolled over onto his other side and got a muzzle full of black fur. He scurried away on his paws and soon collapsed a foot away from the panther. He trembled in fear of what the panther would do if he woke up.

I'll be back with more.

Well I've got a little bit more.

************************************

Hunter felt a wet nose bury into his fur. He stirred and soon got to his feet before opening his eyes. He gave a large yawn and turned to face the wolf. He seemed scared and weary still. Hunter smiled and walked closer to the wolf. "Hi, how are you feeling?" Hunter asked softly. His voice was friendly and calm. Hunter didn't want to agitate the wolf.

Kruz stayed silent. Although the panther spoke in a soft and calm voice. Kruz wasn't ready to trust anyone yet. He just stayed back and crouched low to the ground. Kruz didn't have any idea of what the panther's true intentions might be.

Hunter awaited a response from the wolf. But when no words came, Hunter decided that the wolf might still be a bit unsure and insecure. especially after his encounter with, who knows what. Hunter smiled and backed away. "If you don't feel like talking yet, that's ok," he stated. "Oh and I'm Hunter," Hunter finished. He began to back away and walked into the deep woods.

Kruz was able to smile. His trust wasn't fully in this panther but he got the vibe that he could trust this, Hunter. Kruz lay back down under the warm morning sun and continued with his slow recovery.

Not Muich But I'm tired and I got to go to sleep.

It may not have been much but it was good. I feel that Kruz will find a good friend in Hunter even if he is a panther. Keep it up! howl.gif
