Does anyone ever get annoyed with their dad or mom?I live with my dad and he gets on my nerve all the time it really annoys me. All he does is invade my personal space. He also gets mad at me if I get anything below an 83 on a test

What about you guys?Do you're parents do the same?

I don't see my dad anymore, he's an as* but my mum is ok, she just kinda lets me do what I want most of the time, I only moan when I have to get off the computer earlier than I want to. XD

I usually get on well with my dad. He's easy to talk to and will listen to my problems, which I think is very important. My parents are divorced and I spend an equal amount of time with each. I don't always get on with my mum. She seems to stereo-type me at the moment as a moody teenager.. we've had A LOT of fall-outs over the last year. My mum is very protective and says she cares about my little sister and me but really, I think she only cares about her boyfriend.

My dad doesn't have a girlfriend at the moment.. I think he's worried that my sister and I won't accept one. Plus, he likes his independence.

My mum and dad are divorced. My dad's okay but my mum is over pretective and always wants to know about my life and personal things. It's pretty annoying.

Yeah but soon they'll need you because they get old like my dad will need me but I think I stopped being alive

My parents snoop through my stuff, and get in my personal space all the time. They go through and trash my room if I'm not there.

Erm...I don't really get along with my mom, but I totally have fun with my dad.<3 I'm scared that they will divorce though, because there's been problems...

I live with both of my parents. My mom is really awesome. She is always doing things for me and my brothers. My dad is o.k. sometimes. During the summer he takes us up to the lake near our house and we go boating. That is always fun. That's during the summer. The rest of the year he is a pain in the rear. I am so glad that my parents respect my personal space. I can't believe some parents actually go through their kids trash.

Believe it or not, they invade your personal stuff because they want to know if you are not in any gangs or having a bad life or cutting school.
if they look through yourself is also because they don't trust you. Ever lied to them and got caught? I believe you had.

They want you to get higher then an 83 because, well, below that is bad. I mean, 80 is ok but cant you go better? Dont be lazy and study.

I am a fifteen year old boy (sixteen on May 3) and i think my parents love me and show it by the way they treat me. They want me to get good grades so they punish me if i get below an 85. Never in my life have I ever gotten below that. So therefore I am a good student.

They yell at you if you do something wrong because they want you to learn from your mistakes and teach you that their are consequences in life. I always learn from my mistakes and try to use that experience and hope it never happens.

Also, dont say that you wont do the same with your kids. They are doing it because they are parents. You are saying it cause you don't have any kids and so don't know the responsibility it is to have a kid and love them. If you dont do the same thing your parents are treating you, then I'm sure your kids will come out with bad grades and talking back at you and braking things and a few (if not always) curse words here and there.

So this topic is not only an insult to them(your parents) but to yourself. How can you not like the way the treat you? They are your parents and they want the best for you.

I KNOW the responsibility of being a parent even though I've only raised other baby animals but I've also taken care of kids younger than me. I've broken a kid in my class Danny I stopped him from swearing and talking about a whole lot of other swears but why would I join a gang or cut school?I've never done anything and lost his trust like my brother I mean I'm thinking of acting like my brother!Seriously my brother back talks to my dad doesn't clean his room or anything else and my dad never does anything!Unlike me I keep my room clean I've NEVER sworn or done anything other than that!The lowest grade I've gotten is an 80 unlike my brother! And all my dad does is want to invade my personal space!!But my brother he leaves alone despite all he does!

And this topic is an insult to parents. Have you ever thought that they care about you??? I'm a young 13-year-old teen, and my mum and dad live in two different houses about 15 mins away from eachother, and me and my wee sis go to a different house every night. And we get on extremely well with them. And I don't care if they go through my stuff... because I've got nothing to hide.

So... yeah...
