Wow, BS, great research. Very interesting indeed. But let's not blame Universal for the historical "mistakes", it's still a cartoon :lol:. It's nice to know that there weren't any forests or waterfalls in the area, since the famous "bear scene" obviously took place in a forest.

Thanks for reposting this information, BaltoSeppala. Even though I already knew almost all of it, I still learned something new about the totem poles.

One thing I think you forgot is that the grizzly bear scene would not have occurred in real life because the grizzly bears hibernate in the winter.
