Yupik (and many others) made a topics similar this, you could have easily posted this in one of those to save space.

And you not only get this in the roleplay. You can also find it in the shoutbox. Someone had said their mother had cancer... "So why are you sitting here? Why arent you with her?" This person said it was fatal or something, so thats MORE of a reason to be with her. And the someone asked what level it was, and the kid said "they wont tell me, they wont tell me anything". That is something you should know.

Its annoying, and stupid. And even MORE stupid when people believe them. Come on, this is the internet! :roll:

I actually, have had some issues in my life, so what I do is I change my screenname to something like Necro Silver or something to that extent. This way everyone can see I'm not feeling like I normally am and to leave me alone.

However, (read this part so you don't make a tool of yourself) that was on MY forum. Otherwise, if I'm having family issues, I send my close friends some PMs and not come on for a few days to let myself emotionally cleanse (did I spell that right O_o'). The last thing I'd want to do is make people want to roll their eyes and spend countless hours hearing my "sob" story.

But I do have something to say in their defense. (Good Lord, I've gone to the Dark Side! XD nah, I joke)

at times, we humans all need to feel some sort of love or friendship during times of pain. Coming onto a forum is like going into a coffee shop or a bar like the one on Cheers; you feel like you belong there. You feel welcomed.

This post may not have much to do with your actual rant here, but this is about all rants about 'Life Problems'. Could people please stop talking about it? I am sorry to anyone who does have life problems or whatever, but this is not the place to talk about it. This is a forum dedicated to Balto. I hate hearing about peoples problems here, theres a time and a place, and here is not it. Sorry, but thats what I think.

I wish people would ignore them when they start things like that, so many times someone comes on the SB complaining about how bad their life is, blah, blah, blah and everyone goes "Aww, what's the matter?", I personally could'nt careless, if you've got a problem, go figure it out!!!! I could spend hours complaining about the fact that I'm homeless and so on but what good would it actually do? Seriously, can someone tell what good it'd do?

Yes,but whining about them does not sound any better does it? Its basically the same thing. I've just come to that conclusion that are whining about them and their whining about life are both becoming irritable,I guess. I mean,YES it does bug me each and every way but I just know,

SOOO I guess....just ignore them when they are on. If the site cannot do anything about our problems then we can solve them ourselves. We shouldn't depend on the mods or steet anyways. I am pretty sure we are smart enough to solve are peeves ourselves. :wink:

Rosetta, I can guarantee you that if this board wasn't open to rants for people who obviously want to rant, that people would be blowing up at everyone else. They may as well at LEAST get what's bugging them out of their system, especially when they're reasonably annoyed at something like this -_- If I could, I'd make a rant about those who don't understand the concept of ranting.

One time there was this guy/girl I dunno which on the shoutbox saying their dog was dying and people kept telling them to go spend time with it but instead they just typed away....It's really annoying so I agree with ya there Maya
