Private Message Adress book?

i thought this might be a good idea. For PMs on BS, put a Adress book, so you dont have to type in the name, or if you cant remember it exactly, just select it from a list on the side of people you ahve added to it. i dont know about you, but i thought this might be a cool idea!

it would make things easier for me, but it might be to much trouble for steet, and make the site run slower.

i dont really think it would affect server speed all that much. maybe. i dunno.

I normally just find people by clicking there names and clicking "PM"... But then again those who dont post, are harder to find. But you can always search them. This could be a good idea, but not really nessicary.

This sounds like a really good idea. Because half the people that I like to PM, I can't just click on their name and there I go; I have to physically find the name...copy...paste...it's a pain. So this is a good idea! Very good, AmericanWolf2-alpha.-BP! Let's just hope Steet looks at this! ^_^

Firstly, this is just laziness. Search for a post from them and click "PM".

Secondly, the script itself is probably nothing too hard, but it would take up database space, make the PM page slower to load, and ultimately (possibly) decrease server speed. A useless idea.

Thirdly, that's why steet added a system where you search the name and click on the one you want.

This isn't necessarily a bad idea, just something that steet would probably think useless. Maybe it's possible, but I doubt steet would do it.

I've got a feeling something like that would take a lot of time and effort on Steet's part just to add something like that let alone make sure it works properly and keep it "bug-free".
I normally just click the "pm" icon underneath the persons post or use "*" as a 'wildcard' in the search thing on the PMs, not a bad idea just not sure how possible it would be.
