Has anyone heard of this author or read any of his books? I've tracked down and read as many of his novels as I could and he's by far one of the best authors i've read. Between his Alex Rider series and The Power Of Five books, his books have really grown alot more popular. I've got eight of his books in my collection. About to have an nineht.
His Alex Rider books:
- StormBreaker
- Point Blanc
- Skeleton Key
- Eagle Strike
- Scorpia
- Ark Angel
And he's got a seventh Alex Rider book coming out. Don't know anything about it yet or its release date, but i do know the title.
SneakheadHis Power Of Five books:
- Raven's Gate
- Evil Star
- NightRise
For those of you looking for a book to read, i'd suggest any book by Anthony Horowitz. Here's just a brief summary of his Alex Rider books:
Alex, a 14 year old teenager, has been trained all his life without him even knowing to be a spy. When his Uncle is killed, he is recruited by MI6 and becomes a 14 year old spy. These books are all about his various missions and are packed full of suspense, action, and possibly best of all gadgets!
Here's a brief summary of his The Power of Five books:
Matt is just a regular 15 year old boy. He gets in a bit of trouble when he tries to break into an old warehouse and steal a bunch of DVD's and stuff like that and is sent into rehabilitation program and is taken to and old farm like place with no electricty at all. There, he discoveres the truth about a terrible secret - eight guardians are protecting the world from the evil ones, beings banished long ago by five children. He has always known he had unusual powers and he unlocks them just in time to save his life.
Okay, that was mainly centered around Raven's Gate, but in each book, another of the five kids come into the story. Each one of them has a power/ability. I think these are the most fun part about reading the books. Just waiting to find out what the new kid's power is. In this new one, NightRise, two kids come into the story and their power is revealed right in the first chapter. Not sure how many of these he plans on writing. Maybe 5.

If you have Adobe Reader installed to your computer, you can download and read the first chapter of all the books i've mentioned in this post. Just browse around that site and eventually you'll find them.
