Kennedy's secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners.
Both successors were named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
Their first names both contain six letters.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.

Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names comprise fifteen letters.
Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse.
Oswald ran from a warehouse and was caught in a theater.
Both assassins were assassinated before their trials.
The only complete filming of Kennedy's assasination was shot by Abraham Zapruder.
The only complete account of Lincoln's assasination was written by John Zelfindorfer.
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was with friends in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with his friend Marilyn Monroe.
Lincoln's last child, Tad, had his funeral held on July 16, 1871.
Later he was exhumed and moved to a different grave site.
Kennedy's son JFK Jr. was lost at sea on July 16, 1999.
Later he was found, brought up, and then re-burried at sea

You got one detail wrong: Kenedy was in fact hit by two bullets, one in the head and one in the shoulder (which gave rise to certain complicated conspiracy theories as to the exact orign of the shots).

The shots went like this:
The first shot missed Kennedy, the second shot fired hit Kennedy in the back of the neck, at this point he grabbed his neck and Governor Connally was also shot but lived.
The second shot was the kill shot, when the bullet struck the back of his head, an interesting side not is that after the second shot to Kennedy, Mrs. Kennedy climbed onto the rear of the limousine and tried to retrieve pieces of her husband. At this point she was is shock and later had no recollection of doing so.
I have read about the Lincoln Kennedy similarities

Quite right. Good work, Cogitor. I, myself, have never been much for these comparison lists. They rather smack of the same kind of mindset as conspiracy theories. All of this stuff is just plain coincidence. The two men, if you read about them, their writings, what they said, even their party affiliations, were quite different in nearly every respect. Lincoln came from a poor Kentucky family, Kennedy was the product of New England wealth and high society. Lincoln also had the toughest job ANY U.S. president ever had. Even more than Washington himself. Lincoln had to do his best to hold this country together during a devastating civil war. And the wear and tear on him showed during his presidency. Look at pictures of him in 1861, all strong, confident, and even youthful. Then look at him four years later...gaunt, aged, worry-worn. Exhausted. Dang - who wouldn't be? It takes a special kind of human being to do what he did. And he did it all with grace, humility and compassion. No matter what you may say of his politics, and the activities of his cabinet, the man was a kind, gentle, self-effacing soul. And what other president could compare more with Lincoln (MUCH more) than Kennedy? Ronald Reagan, under those parameters. Because Reagan, too, was a kind, gentle, self-effacing soul, who faced substantial difficulties in pulling the country out of terrible recession (created by the Carter administration).
Wouldn't an even better comparison be FDR? I mean, he pulled the country out of the mother off all recessions, the Great Depression. That, and he won that other war. The really big one.
I still fail to grasp why he didn't win The Greatest American, by the way. but that is way off toppic, so I'll just add this: grassy knoll!
