Are there any frequently-bashed bands you like? For me:
Jefferson Starship (Mostly bashed because of "We Built This City". Personally, I like "Find Your Way Back" and "Jane")
Starcastle (Very underrated band. Often considered to be Yes ripoffs by those who know them. RIP Gary Strater!)
Warrant (Some people love it. Other hate it. I think Warrant is cool!)
Krokus (Seriously, what's wrong with them?)

Dragonforce...and that was one comment from my friend...and that was ever. Honestly the rest of the bands I like people seem to mostly agree with or never heard em before.

Suprising actually but I like Blink 182 and MCR this is coming from a guy who's into his Oi Oi Punk and all that, but meh I liked em when I heard em only to find out later that everyone hates em but the majority opinion won't change mine, goes against what punk is to me if i do
However MCR is the only emo band I like. I am NOT an emo lol

Evanescence. When I talk about their songs with my friends, most of them are just like, "whaaat?" and when they listen to it (from my iPod) they call me emo .___. and MCR...but I know 3 people from my school who like them.
