No they're not and its because its sometimes they're instinct to pick up a baby child they know will be good for the pack

Wolves and/or dogs will generally try to look after younger children anyway, my collie will always tend to be protective of younger children, even ones he does'nt know very well, I gues it could be possible and if the guy on the advert was an adult then he was probably adopted by the wolves as a young child and they will see him as one of them now he's grown.

This is what your topic reminds me of.
When my cat suragated (took care of when she was not the mother) of a baby rabbit. It is possible, but fairly (if not, very) rare.
Yes, it is possible for a wolf to take in an infant/young child, depending on the nature of the animal.
What it is: There is that 'motherly instinct' in every female, like when you, maybe, would see a kitten and want to keep it and love it forever and ever. That's 'the motherly instinct' I'm talking about (males don't really have a lot to worry about Estrogen XD ).
Well, I hope the above statement(s) help the situation clear up some for you, and good luck finding the answer(s)! :]

When I was little I believe my husky was protective like that. But she never bit me then but she bites me now..

I saw that show and this girl clammed to be part of the pack but . . .
she looked at the dogs for affection and warmth, they didn't take her "in" but she learned to behave like them.
If you have a thing that records shows on the TV (I forgot what its called) look up:
Is it real and find the one that says feral children

You are referring to Shawn Ellis, a wolf researcher whom raised and lived with three orphaned wolf pups in captivity for the last three years or so. Obviously, the wolves are no longer pups and Shawn is a member of the pack. The special you refer to is Man Among Wolves which aired on the National Geographic Channel yesterday.

Actually, it was what faithful~friend mentioned, the show about feral children, being raised by any animal, from Tarzan and the myth of Romulus and Remus to this girl in Ukraine who was supposedly raised by dogs, and a boy in Uganda who was supposedly raised by apes in the rainforest, which actually aired right after that show that Coaster mentioned. I didn't get to see it, but in the "Is It Real?" show, they had psychologists and animal behavior experts examine if that was possible. It seems sort of possible to me, but I can't say for sure if I believe it.

GingaWolf mentioned a full grown man in his fourth post. That obviously is Shawn Ellis since his documentary aired yesterday.
I have heard about feral children. There have been documented cases of feral children since the mid-nineteenth century. In France, there was a case of a feral child in the 1850s. A doctor tried to reintegrate the child back into society but could not. There was also a case of a child being locked in a room in California in the 1970s. These cases have taught physiologists much about the critical socialization period that children go through.

I've met Shawn and the three wolves, Tamaska, Yana and Matsi. I'm not sure if they're talking about the same guy though, Shawn said he'd heard of a few people who claim to have been raised by wolves but never met any, Shawn did it the other way around, he raised the wolf pups and they now see him as part of their pack, I guess he's kinda their leader. He's just introduced four new wolf pups to the three older ones too. I'm still reserved about whether anyone has actually been raised by wolves.
