"How To"

Hmm, sounds like a good idea Sepp, it'd certainly clear things up and might stop so many questions about how to do things.

Generally like the topic I made in the Fan More section? It has a list of all the tuts (and other important stickies) for everyone to look through and find the one they need.

On my Aurora we have this, too. Its a sub board I put in Fan More, that keeps all the tuts and guides.

I know when the next version of phpBB comes out, steet is going to make two sub boards in Fan Art for Contests and Adoptions. I think it might be wise for him to put in Fan More (or somewhere else) a sub board for How To's, Guides, Tuts, ect. But until then I think it *can* wait.

Good idea, though, Seppy. ;]

I realize this. I was just referring to my topic that I had made (to ease off the stickies). With a whole sub board (or 'folder') there would be no need for stickies, sense they would all be helpful. But until the new version comes out, I dont think we will see anything. ;]

Ya Seppala, that would TOTALLY clear things up. One minuet I'd be looking in Fan More for a music video and above it is a tutorial topic and I'd click ont hat instead xD Ya I do get confused. Very good Idea. I'm all for it ;D

This does sound like a good idea. :] It does get irksome when people ask something that has been asked before and a "How To" section would help a lot. Of cource there would still be people who would go ahead and ask anyway, but it would cut that number down.

Very good idea. I hope if it is made, then it won't just sit there. What I mean is, no one would write and there would be a whole bunch of old topics.

Though I've never even looked through a tutorial here :lol:

I don't know. I fear there would be lots of "useless" tutorials or duplicates. Also, I think this is more practical to keep the tutorials in the appropriate sections : tutorials for fanarts in the fanart section, tutorials for music videos in the fan videos section, etc...

I agree. The perfect system using sticky-topics is allready quite transparant and user-friendly. If the tutorials are edited, that is: it is hard to find exactly what you are looking for in a ten-page, dozen-posts topic.
