Full Metal Jacket- this is great. The beginning with Lee Ermey is a great combination of hilarious and horrifying. A great satire/commentary on Vietnam.
Schindler's List- this should be required viewing for everyone when they are 16 or so. Graphic and unsparing, the part with the little girl in the red jacket will bring you to tears. The part with the SS man playing the piano while his men shoot Jews through the walls of the house is terrible in its viciousness.
Predator- two US governors in one movie? You darn right! Jesse Ventura's line, "I ain't got time to bleed" ranks in my all time favorite movie quotes.

Im surprised this one hasn't been mentioned yet.
The Pursuit of Happyness
Im going to have to drop all other movie titles that i've enjoyed and leave it at this one film. The movie was just a masterpiece. Will Smith did a really good job with that part, deffinatly his best performance.
