3.5GB DDR2RAM
512MB ATI Raedon X1600 Pro (750DAV)
250GB Western Digital SATA harddisk @ 7200rpm
300GB Western Digital SATA harddisk @ 5600rpm

Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM & 48x CD+/-RW disk drive
Ports: 5.1 audio, Printer Comm., Serial, Ethernet 10/100, DVI output, VGA output (and many more not wanting to list)
Wireless 802.11n networking (including wireless ad hoc sharing connection between work and home)
22" Samsung LCD
4x 80mm cooling fans
Custom Built Network Server (not operational until later 2007)
At the moment, this is all I purchased:
1. Intel Core Duo 2.66GHz @ 1066MHz BUS (socket 775)
2. 8GB DDR2RAM
3. Apple OS X Server
4. 4x 80mm cooling fans
5. Fibre Channel card (for my OC-12 line at home & for my domain)
... still have a long way to go
EDIT: Oh, and Intel for me, just because every system I'm running uses Intel processors and because I have had better experiences with Intel compared to AMD processors.
EDIT2: Oh, and for how many people are sitting there wanting to pick my brain for the amount of money I blew on producing these machines: $4,392.19 (at corporate price- a 35% discount as compared to that a residential purchase). Maybe I enjoy technology a little too much, because that server is going to climb the bill further.... *pines*

Pretty I might post info about my engine later.
Anyway Intel is better than AMD after some experiments and experiences, ya know? AMD is a copy of Intel, I've seen in RL and videos how things work, The graphic card and Processor burns out (the AMD) if they don't have a Cooler, hehehe.

My parents computer------
-Gateway GT5426E
- Processor- AMD Athlon X2 5200+ (DualCore @ 2.6Ghz) Socket AM2
- RAM- 2-GB (2x 1GB) DDR2 533 CL5
- Graphics- Onboard Nvidia Geforce 6150SE (256MB Frame Buffer)
- Realtek ALC 985 Hi-Def Audio
- HDD- Hitachi Deskstar 320GB SATA150
- Motherboard- Gateway ATX Socket AM2, Geforce 6150 Chipset
Family Laptop=====\
Gateway 600 series
Processor- Intel Pentium 4 Mobile 2.15Ghz
RAM- 512 MiB DDR-266 (2x 256 SO-DIMM)
Graphics- ATi Radeon Mobile 9000 (ONLY SUPPORTS DX-8
Sound- ALC 660
HDD- Maxtor 30GB ATA2 (ATA 100)
I have always found AMD to be a good contender, up until the Core2 Duo, AMD held the performance award, Deni, the only reason Pentium 4s didnt overheat without heatsyncs was they would slow themselves down, sometimes as low as 30mhz to avoid overheating. why anyone would try to run a CPU with no Heatsync and fan is beyond me. AMD has more performance per clock than Pentiums. The pentium 4 was the Intels biggest failure ever.

lol... my parents won't let me touch their DELL Dimension. They think that I'll somehow make it so powerful that it'll explode or something ..... .....
Thanks Mom and Dad.
They won't even go into my room because of all the noise that my HP Pavilion produces...

You can check basic specifications by going to My Computer and right clicking onto Properties.
Another method is to click the Start Menu, Run, type 'dxdiag' (without quotes) and hit Enter (only works if your computer runs DirectX- and since its probably a Windows/Microsoft computer, it will have DirectX)
The other way to check is to learn them by memory, because I learned to memorize all 3 of my systems...

Wow.. thats terrible.
Nah, just kidding. Looking at this setup, are you perhaps running Vista or still running 'better-than-Vista' Windows XP?
