Fund Raising

Hey Balto Sourcers!

I am in need of your opinions. Have any of you ever needed a way to raise money for something? Something very important to you? Well, today is that time for me. I need ways to make money so I can go to Europe with my friends. If you guys could please give me some ideas about fund raises I would be very grateful to hear them.

Hmmmm how about, since you ride horses, a sponsered ride or maybe a sponsered walk? You can do it with some friends.

Yep, I do have a job, but, it is pretty cheap!XD So, that's why I'm fund raising.

If I get the money, I will be going to Venice, Paris and...I forget the last one!XB But, it would be wonderful if I ended up getting all the money.

Well, there's always the pawnshop. The saddest places on earth. Why? Because they're full of broken dreams.

Or, if pawning your stuff doesn't seem like something you like to do, try selling on E-bay. You can sell CD's you don't want anymore, DVD's, electronics you may own such as video game systems, Discmans, IPOD's, stuff like that. That will raise cash for you quickly, although someone unreliably.

Try getting your folks to fund it for you. Tell them that they can make this your X-mas (or substitute an appropriate holiday) present and your birthday present for a set amount of years, based on how much it costs. Those are the only ways I can think of that people haven't already said.

Fundraising? Not the right words. Working hard to get money is better to be said. Fundraising is what you generally do to help those in need - not those who think they need something.

You just need to get some odd jobs around your neighborhood. Down where I live, kids 14 years can get a job down at the country club. Try looking around for part time jobs, and such. Do things for your parents; ask them what you can do. Things like that. ;]

When I need a bit of extra cash I do jobs for people, walk dogs, sell some of my drawings, sell stuff I don't want in either a car-boot or garage sale and you can baby-sit for people too. :wink:

You could get a part-time job. I hope to offerred a job at the boarding kennels that I'm going to for work experience in July. Hoping.
