How would you rank the following 7 ADGTH dogs from favorite to least favorite? The 7 dogs are Charlie, Itchy, Sasha,
Carface, Annabelle, Killer and Flo. What are your reasons? Here's my opinion:

1.Itchy - He's got to be my favorite character in ADGTH. I don't really like it when people give him credit for being "dim-witted". In fact, he seems to have more common sense than most of the other characters. He may come across as pessimistic and neurotic to some but still, it seems like he really knows what's going on! That, and I think Dachshunds are cool.

2.Killer - Definately the most original and unique character in ADGTH. He strikes me as being kinda emo with those glasses and spiked collar, now all he needs is a sweater vest and the look is complete! I feel really bad for him, Carface yelling at him all the time and treating him like junk. He may be a "bad" guy but I think he has a good heart deep down inside. Killer's underrated, but he rocks!

3.Sasha - My favorite female dog in ADGTH. I'll actually admit it straight up that I had a little crush on her as a kid. But I told nobody that back then. Gotta admit, she was pretty sexy while she sang that song in ADGTH 2 and I don't blame Charlie for liking her. She also seems to be the
smartest of the female characters.

4.Charlie - He's okay. Always struck me as a pimp and a troublemaker but he's pretty tolerable compared to Carface. I think he should listen to Itchy's advice more often. It'll help him stay outta trouble! Definately on the mid tier on my list.

5.Annabelle - I never really liked Annabelle that well. She's okay, kinda a goody-goody. I'm not really that big a fan of her voice, either. Kinda strikes me as a religeous fanatic *Shudders at the thought*.

6.Flo - Never really liked Flo for whatever reason. Too much of a girly-girl in my opinion. Not at all like Sasha.

7.Carface - I've always hated Carface's guts. He kills Charlie, beats up Itchy and constantly abuses poor Killer. I really wish that Killer would finally snap on Carface and show him the true meaning of pain. That, and the fact that cigar smoke thoroughly disgusts me and Carface is too cliche for his own good.

Charlie- by no means a "nice guy" and that's why I like him so. He bent every rule that a prototypical "good guy" in a children's movie is supposed to adhere to. He was manipulative, vengeful, and drank, gambled, and stole throughout the entire movie. Now that's just awesome! Of course, we know, deep down, he had a heart of gold and that serves to redeem his character quite a lot. It's really a shame that Burt Reynolds couldn't do his voice again in the second one, but when you look back on it, the entire first movie was basically Burt Reynolds and friends doing the voices. They really had an all-star cast going on there. Unfortunately, they totally destroyed Charlie's character with the second movie. He lost all his edginess, which was what made him different and special!

Sasha- ah, yes. Perhaps the only redeeming character from the second movie. And don't feel bad Kurtman, you're probably not the only guy who had the tiniest crush on Sasha. With all the rump-shaking and tail=swishing she did, it was probably the most suggestive (children's) cartoon song since Jessica Rabbit.

Itchy- Dom DeLuise did a great job with the character. Everybody loved Itchy, the slightly beleaguered, often reluctant sidekick to Charlie's hard=driving main character.

Carface- hmm, wonder where that name came from? This guy was evil, man! He was putting out contract hits on people from the very beginning of the movie and executed both an attempted drive=by shooting and the attempted torture/murder of Killer before all was said and done. His namesake would be proud. Vic Tayback was great on the voice as well.

Killer- I never liked Killer all that much, even though the voicework by Charles Nelson Riley was great (do I know every voice actor through the movie? Maybe...). He was the stereotypical, doddering, sidekick/punching bag for Carface. He had his good moments though. My favorite line?

*Speaking to Carface about Charlie* "Hey boss, do you want I should go squeeze his head with the pliers?"

Come to think of it, Killer must have been a little bit of a sociopath,
considering how fond he was of pliers (he mentions them again, insinuating that Carface should have let him use the pliers to off Charlie).

Annabelle- another character murdered by the second movie. She went from being the heavenly record-keeper and having a crush on Charlie (again, heavily implied by the first movie) to being some sort of divine MI-6, with missions and operatives and whatnot. Not cool.

Flo- the fact that she's at the bottom doesn't mean she's last or that I don't like here. She's cute and all, as are the orphan pups she takes care of, but we really don't see enough of her for me to form a really good opinion of her. It is interesting that she's Charlie's girlfriend (heavily implied at least) in the movie and she was voiced by Burt Reynolds' then-wife Lonnie Anderson. Why, what a coincidence!

In all, an awesome movie with awesome characters. Too bad it got wrecked at the box office and is now virtually ignored.

I *LOVE* ADGTH!

I would rank the dogs listed this way...

1. SASHA! One of my favorite characters. She's awesome. I like her personality, singing, dancing, etc etc.

2. Annabelle. I like her best in the first film, even though Bebe Neuwirth is cool. I also love Belladonna, though she's only in the TV series, which not many people seem to know of. I've only seen certain episodes that I CAN see because it's not on anymore. But Belladonna is the best thing on the show--a wicked purple Whippet.

3. Killer. Love Charles Nelson Reilly! He's adorable. Bad but not that bad, just kind of dumb and lovable.

4. Charlie. Well, he really could rank higher but he's the main character so I figure it's a given that I love him anyway. And I do. He's such a rogue...and he gets into so much trouble...but yet, he's sweet inside.

5. Flo. Can't really decide who to put next. Flo is a nice dog...she seems to take really good care of all those pups.

6. Itchy. "Short legs!" Poor little guy. Kind of neurotic and he gets dragged through a lot that he has to put up with. I feel a bit bad for him sometimes. xD He's a loyal friend to Charlie though.

7. Carface. Well...I tend to like villains, actually, but I ranked him last because...he's against everybody else (except Killer)...and I like them all. He's a good character but not my favorite villain.

1 - Charlie. No question. For a start, he was a German Shepherd, best dog evah XD And c'mon... he was freakin' AWESOME XD I just love how cheeky and BAD he is! I find the idea of dogs gambling and drinking hilarious, and dead cool XD Call me crazy. Go ahead! And I love how he uses a child to gamble, while SHE thinks he's helping her look for a 'mon and dad' XD He's definetely not the 'good guy', which is what attracted me so much to him. And his song, 'Let Me Be Surprised', is just fantastic. It was my fave song for ages - I couldn't stop singin' it for freakin' AGES XD And I swear I cried at the end, when he had to leave Anne-Marie... so heartbreaking and beautiful...

2 - Itchy. He's sooooo cuteh! XD And he's a dachshud, which also rock! And he is the 'voice of reason', and is a real nag, but in a good way. And his itching problem is adorably funny! He's so easy to get scared, and seems so weak at times... alot of times... so I wanted to hug him halfway through the film! XD

3 - Sasha. Freakin' awesome character! She's beautiful, and flirty... and strong! Which is why I love her so much. Absoloitely fantastic character, who added so much spice to the sequels. And she definetely CAN sing! I just wish her and Charlie's relationship was more developed. She definetely sang the 'I Will Always Be With You' song too soon XD

4 - Annabelle. I definetely prefer her in the first than in the second film. She's os sweet and gentle... but she sings too much in such a high voice... which got annoying XD


5 - Perhaps Killer. He annoys me... but he's okay I guess

6 - Carface. Don't like him that much...

7 - Flo. Very small, useless part, but she's sweet. But all she seemed to do was flirt with Charlie o.O XD

It must be weird that I dont like Itchy...To me he is annoying XD

1.Charlie - Well, I virtually grew up with ADGTH and Charlie was like my hero, as was Simba from TLK. When my sister and I used to play our little roleplay games I'd always be Charlie and she'd be Sasha. The Sasha from All Dogs Christmas Carol, that is. Ahh.. the good days. Yeah, Charlie is a favourite.

2. Itchy - He was such a funny character.. made me laugh every time. I just didn't like the clothing he had. Loved his personality. Yep, I can't imagine that movie without Itchy.

3. Carface - I guess a movie is never complete without a villan. I didn't like Carface but he made a good villan. He was pretty scary.

4. Sasha - Based on the Sasha from Christmas Carol as I never saw the ADGTH sequel.. she annoyed me.. I love her name but she seemed a bit of a cheesy character. Maybe she's different in ADGTH 2.

5.Annabelle - Hated her in Christmas Carol but she was quite a cool character in ADGTH. I hated her pony-tail thing she had going on there... xD

2. Itchy- Funny. You gotta feel sorry for him. " Short legs, short legs!"
3. He's kinda bad, he never does the right thing at first. But he's funny. One reason-" Enjoy you're waffles." I don't like them, but my friend and me are ADDICTED to the song," Do You Like Waffles?" Very weird. ( It's on youtube)
4. Flo- She's nice
5. Annabelle- She isn't evil. I don't like the fact that her voice is annoying and she sings badly.
6. Killer- mean, but could be worse.
7. PURE EVIL!

Yeah, she is different...almost everything is cheesy in the Christmas Carol. I like it, but the entire series (that's part of it) is incomparable to the two actual movies. Sasha rocks in the sequel (IMO)!
