Bear was my Golden Retriever. He died at the age of 13, when I was 2. I guess the number 13 was very unlucky for him.
My parents adopted him when he was about 18 months old. His previous owners gave him up, as they wanted a Poodle instead.
When Bear came home, he was a nervous wreck. He was fine with eating, though, only refusing two things: yoghurt and bananas.
Soon Edward came into his life - Edward, a human "puppy". Luckily, Bear was not a snappy dog and was very tolerant around Edward, and the two became best friends.
Alex, another human, entered Bear's life as well. Bear was just as welcoming and the 5 lived together happily.
Bear lived through many things. Good things, like me being born (yeah, right xD), meeting Zac, going through many birthday parties and snapping up food that people dropped. There were also not-so-good things, like the time he gulped down a whole lot of play-doh which made him sick, getting eczema and mites, living with hip dysplasia and worst of all, nearly having to get his tail docked after cancer grew on him - luckily, the cancer was removed and the dear old boy kept his tail.
13 is a grand age for a large-breed dog, especially one with so many rough things in life. Bear probably knew he was going to die, as his humans knew it too.
I got one last goodbye present from ol' Bear - a handful of mites. Not that I minded, I loved him so much. He was the one calm enough to allow me to climb on top of him and pull his ears.
He was put to sleep on the 6th of May, 1999.

I live among God's creatures now, in the Heavens of your mind. So do not grieve for me, my friend, as I am with my kind. My collar is a rainbow's hue, my leash a shooting star. My boundaries are the Milky Way where I sparkle from afar. So when your life on Earth is spent, and you stand at Heaven's gate. Have no fear of loneliness, for here you know I wait.
RIP Bear.

No, I didn't write it ^^ I posted Bear's story on another site, and somebody replied, saying nothing but that poem. No info on who wrote it or anything, so I dunno =/

I think the most important right now are the following;
Missy ~ Toy Poodle, died 4-9-2007 (found dead after being missing for ten days).
Skyla "Skye" ~ A little mutt (mixed) kitten who couldn't even stand up.
Twin (unnamed for young age)~ Skye's sibling. Both died from being left behind by their mother over-night in below 32 degrees.
R.I.P., we'll miss you (no, I don't have pictures).

Let's see.......living on a farm, we had 4 chickens. 2 (Bill and Barb) got heatstroke and 1 (Nikki) was decapitated by own pet dog. The other one (Margeine) survived and we got 3 more new chickens who are all still alive. They provide us with eggs. A horse (Champ) died from old age and one of the outdoor cats (Michael) got ran over by our landlord, but the cat himself was extremely old to begin with.

Hmm...where do I start...
Well, when I was born, my mother and father owned 3 tabbies; Crystal, Snowball and Bubbles. Crystal was black with a white face, white paws and she lived the longest. She died of natural causes last February. Bubbles was an orange tabby who died of throat cancer when I was 6, and Snowball had a large tumor that killed him a year after Bubbles died.
When I was 11, I owned a hamster named Bayleaf. She lived for 5 years and died of natural causes. After that, I got another hamster named Midnight who also died of natural causes 4 years after I got her.
I also owned a few fish, but I can't remember any of their names. XD Unless the little algae-eating fish that my turtle killed counts. O_o
At the moment I have a fluffy little 3-year-old calico cat named Twinkle. :D She's perfectly healthy.
