I was browseing Fluke's Tribute to Balto when I saw the Steele color key. I started to wonder if Steele was supposed to be blue...did Steele have a color change from blue to black and white? Heres the page I saw it on http://fluke.theicecave.org/pcolourkeys.shtml

Maybe. He looks blue on the cover of the DVD. It was probably a last minute change during the production. And I know this has nothing to do with Steele's coloring, but one of Balto's legs are colored wrong

Actually black is just a very dark shade of blue or sometimes green. Black as a colour does not tecnically exist.. that is all I remember from studying art for about 6 years.
