Three days ago, I decided to become a vegatarian, I really have been commited and have not had any meat, but a lot of people are trying to drag me back to eating meat, some saying how I will lack Vitiam K, and some even say I will die from the lack of meat. Isthis atcually true? Or is the usual average human reaction to new they do not like, taking facts to the extreme, to scare others into falling apart and giving up? Nobody seems to wish to be supportive and its not making it easier on me, though I intend on staying a vegatarian, I still wish I did not have to do it alone...

If this would be true, why are there still vegitarians? Ask that question to them, and see if they answer.

Yes it can become fatal in an amount of time. And anyways, the planks and fruits vegitarians eat, the plank IS alive, and its illed to be eaten, so if they are so against killing, they ARE killing, killing plants and fruit. So is you DON'T eat you WILL die. Simple as that. Its NOT good, so i suggest you do eat meat, its better, AND you can eat ANYTHING else. Mean is good for you. or why else would they kill animals?

You can get this stuff in a lot of other ways. I am planning on becoming a vegitarian, but I'm surveying my options. For protein and stuff, yogurt does the trick. Just look around.

I'm a vegetarian. I of course wasn't always one, I've been one only for a short time. But I haven't missed meat at all.
But I have never heard of this killing anyone. I have know that there are more anorexic people that are veggies, that would be what killed them... not them being a veggie.
In fact I've looking into it, and vegetarians (if they eat properly) live longer than people that eat meat. I don't know If I believe this, but that’s what some scientist's have said.

I'm not a vegatarian and I LOVE meat but...I seriously doubt you can die from not eating meat. Even if its true that you will lack certain vitamins you could always just bye the vitamins from a store.

I would just love to hear where you got that lie. I may not know much on being a vegetarian, or vegetarians in general, but I do know that this statement is wrong.

I'm just going to say this to everyone: There are plenty of official sources on almost any topic you want, let it online or offline. You just got to know were to look.
Searching "vegetarian" on Google, for example. I know there are site with false information, but that's where each individual needs to know how to identify an official (or primary) source from a second-hand (or secondary) source. There are classes in schools and guides probably exist that with help you build up that skill.
And also, don't forget that you have your libraries, health centers (your best choice), and many other places that you can visit.

What I bring to this topic is Google search for vegetarian. I'll leave it up to you all to find the information you want/need.

If it's not a rude question, why did you decide to become a vegetarian? Health reasons? Moral reasons? Also, what degree vegetarian are you?

I doubt it.
Maybe he/she was a vegetarian. And maybe he/she did have a heart attack. But that doesn't connect the two. There are so many other variables that could have caused or contributed to the heart attack.

And don't bring up malnutrition or not getting enough of any type of vitamin or mineral. Vegetarians have access to every vitamins and minerals that a meat eater has access to. For example: protein is found in meat, correct? Well, protein is also found in tofu and beans which are both vegetarian food.
