I've had someone ask me how I do gradient shading on PhotoFiltre so I figured I would make a nice little visual guide, step-by-step tutorial to follow in case other people did not know how to do this.

Step One


Simply open the file you will be working with. If you need to, re-size it. (You should know how to do that.)

Step Two


Go up to "Filter" at the top of your screen.

Step Three


Go down to "Color" and click.

Step Four


Go over and click (wouldn't ya know it!) "Gradient".

Step Five


Now you should have a box like this pop up. You will want "Duotone" to be selected at the top. Color 1 and 2 will be the ones you change to the colors you want. You'll also want to change the opacity by dragging the small bar to something lower. (In my finished sig I used 30%)

Step Six


Once you have found two colors you like, and have chosen the opacity you would like to use, click "Preview". That way, if the colors are too dark (or light), or you just don't like the way it looks, you can redo it without much trouble.

Step Seven


After messing with the colors and opacity where you have it to the way you like it, it should look like this. Now all you have to do is make it more 'custamized'. Add text or anything you want. Make it yours. ;]
